Oranium OR is a dreadful bottleneck, blocked at either end by Cities. I believe it may be isolated from the inland by the Sierra Nevada.

I would like to redo my route through Azaila and pick up the CU there instead of Iberus to avoid the intercept opportunity if you will allow it. Agree, this would leave both Pro-Consuls and 17CU in Saguntum, 1CU in Iberus.

If you did not realize there was an opportunity than the pick-up in Azaila would be fine, leaving 1 in Ilberus and just 17 in Saguntum after the total loss of 3 in Spain.

396 8/16/2023 12:46:00 AM 206-204 BC Rome Message My mistake in #391 is that I should have said 'drop 2 in Segobriga' (I mistakenly said pick up, but there were never any CUs there to pick up).

Marcellus had 8 when leaving Ilerda, picked up 1 in Iberus (now at 9), moved to Segobriga (through Bilbilis which is only way to get there and make it all the way to Saguntum) and drop 2 at Segobriga (now Marcellus at 7).

Then Marcellus ends at Saguntum with 7, plus the 9 from Scipio A makes a total of 16. After the siege roll loss there are 15 there, 2 in Segobriga and 1 in Azalea.

Segobriga is in Celtiberia and do you mean pick up 1 in Azaila ID?

After the Re-Cap in Message 345 and Reinforcements in Message 348 you had 1 alone in Ilberus and Marcellus +10 in Ilerda and Africanus +10 in Tarraco, for 21 Total CUs

In Message 357 you left the 1 in Ilberus, Marcellus with 8, dropped 1 in Azaila to end Africanus +11 in Dertosa, still 21 total.

In Message 364, Africanus shuffled the 11 from Dertosa to Saguntum.

In the Battle (#390) Africanus lost 2, to end +9.

Now in Message 391 Marcellus has been Activated, picking up the 1 in Ilberus (and the 1 in Azaila?) which would allow him to end with Africanus under his Command + 19 CU, and then the Siege Result losing 1, 18 of the original 21 remaining.

However if you meant to not pick up the 1 Azaila and instead drop 2 (and not pick up 2 in Segobriga) then Marcellus would have had to have moved thru Bilbilis (not indicated and where he would have had to end with Bad Weather)) to reach Saguntum and Hasdrubal would have had an Interception opportunity from Lamnium.

But after the siege loss you have Marcellus +Africanus remaining in Saguntum +15, so with a possible +2 in Saguntum and +1 in Azaila?

Marcellus had 8 when leaving Ilerda, picked up 1 in Iberus (now at 9), moved to Segobriga (through Bilbilis which is only way to get there and make it all the way to Saguntum) and drop 2 at Segobriga (now Marcellus at 7). Then Marcellus ends at Saguntum with 7, plus the 9 from Scipio A makes a total of 16. After the siege roll loss there are 15 there, 2 in Segobriga and 1 in Azalea.

After the Re-Cap in Message 345 and Reinforcements in Message 348 you had 1 alone in Ilberus and Marcellus +10 in Ilerda and Africanus +10 in Tarraco, for 21 Total CUs In Message 357 you left the 1 in Ilberus, Marcellus with 8, dropped 1 in Azaila to end Africanus +11 in Dertosa, still 21 total. In Message 364, Africanus shuffled the 11 from Dertosa to Saguntum. In the Battle (#390) Africanus lost 2, to end +9. Now in Message 391 Marcellus has been Activated, picking up the 1 in Ilberus (and the 1 in Azaila?) which would allow him to end with Africanus under his Command + 19 CU, and then the Siege Result losing 1, 18 of the original 21 remaining. However if you meant to not pick up the 1 Azaila and instead drop 2 (and not pick up 2 in Segobriga) then Marcellus would have had to have moved thru Bilbilis (not indicated and where he would have had to end with Bad Weather)) to reach Saguntum and Hasdrubal would have had an Interception opportunity from Lamnium. But after the siege loss you have Marcellus +Africanus remaining in Saguntum +15, so with a possible +2 in Saguntum and +1 in Azaila?
