666 5/17/2024 4:17:00 AM Spring 1864 Union Message So after the War Weariness and War guilt the SW changes to:

USA : from 105(-) to 100(-)
CSA : from 60(-) to 55(-)

Delta is 45
665 5/17/2024 4:15:00 AM Spring 1864 Union Message 12.9 Union War Weariness and Confederate War
Guilt
During the Political Control Phase of each Fall game turn, the
Union player loses 5 SW points. During the Political Control
Phase of each Fall game turn after the Emancipation Proclama
tion special event has taken effect, the Confederate player loses
5 SW points.
664 5/17/2024 4:11:00 AM Spring 1864 Union Message And indeed SW for CSA did not drop to 61(-), my bad.

So after the blockade running it has dropped from 66(-) to 60(-) me thinks. Need to double check this
663 5/17/2024 4:09:00 AM Spring 1864 Union Message So the Florida reinforcement SP can still be placed.

Will it be Wilmington ?
662 5/17/2024 4:09:00 AM Spring 1864 Union Message So indeed Fernandino is still open and hence Florida is not Union Controlled, darn !!!
661 5/17/2024 4:08:00 AM Spring 1864 Union Message 12.11 CONFEDERATE STATES: During the Political Con
trol Phase, if the Union player controls a number of spaces in a
Confederate state equal to its control value (as listed on the map)
AND there are no undestroyed resource spaces or open blockade
runner ports in the State, the Union player gains control of that
state.
660 5/17/2024 3:54:00 AM Spring 1864 Confederate Message But is Fernandina,FL still open. Yeez, need to take a break.
659 5/17/2024 3:52:00 AM Spring 1864 Confederate Message Sorry again, FL has become US controlled as mentioned ports are not blockade runner ports (missed the meaning of the red arrow).
CSA SW back to 50(-) and remove SP in Wilmington.
Pfftt, many mistakes.
658 5/17/2024 3:46:00 AM Spring 1864 Confederate Message Put the 1 remaining CSA SP in Wilmington, NC
657 5/17/2024 3:45:00 AM Spring 1864 Confederate Message Indo think FL remains CSA controlled becayse there arevstill open blockade runner ports : Cedar Key, FL and St.Marks, FL. (12.1)
This means CSA SW back to 55(-) and an extra reinforcement.
656 5/17/2024 3:36:00 AM Spring 1864 Confederate Message US SW down to 100(-) due to war weariness
655 5/17/2024 3:34:00 AM Spring 1864 Confederate Message I we need to track US SW also as it is important for the victory conditions

630 4/29/2024 3:05:00 AM Fall 1863 Union Message Guido,

I do not believe it can matter much but in journal entry 403 you played the Foreign Intervention card as an OC as conditions were not met.

This requires the deck to be re-shuffled at the end of the game-turn before dealing new cards.

This does not happen automatically, one has to indicate this in the ACTS menu on the right hand side.

Do you recall having done this ? If not suggest we do it at the end of this game-turn.

622 4/26/2024 5:24:00 AM Fall 1863 Union Message me too
621 4/22/2024 12:58:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Message Ps I have a copy of Lincoln, a American civil war game designed by Martin Wallace. Card-driven, 16 pages of rules.
620 4/22/2024 12:55:00 PM Fall 1863 Union Message Don't worry I missed that detail as well first. So no worries
619 4/22/2024 12:54:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Message Frankly i keep missing the small rules despite consulting the rule book almost everytime i make a move. It is a huge detractor for me playing wargames. One should play the samen game several times and they just take too long for that to happen. In that aspect Martin Wallace or Columbia games are much more accessible than these Mark Herman games. They offer the same feel but with less rules overhead.

618 4/22/2024 12:44:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Message i confirm new SW values.
Please remove following SPs :
One in Fort Morgan, AL
One in Charleston, SC
One in Richmond, VA (AoNV to 6)

617 4/22/2024 12:20:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Message Yes, that was actually the move i planned orignally that is to move the whole AoT except 1SP to just pick up the one SP in Arkansas.
Sorry i missed that the Jackson move was against the rules.
I am a bit tired now. Only now back from work.
616 4/22/2024 2:35:00 AM Fall 1863 Union Message Suggest to keep with the same result to use the whole Army of Tennessee for the move and leave 1 SP behind to avoid interception. Although I believe I cannot intercept into an enemy fort.

This way the move is valid, the AoT picks up the 1 SP in Arkansas Post and returns to Memphis.

All is well and no discussion is needed.

Hope you can agree
615 4/22/2024 2:16:00 AM Fall 1863 Union Message Also: just to be clear and hope this matches your numbers

USA SW goes from 113 (+) to 105 (-)
CSA SW goes from 76 (-) to 66 (-)
614 4/22/2024 2:11:00 AM Fall 1863 Union Message So please make one move of the campaign card

then remove the three SPs (but you should not take this fact into account when making your move above). I know that is impossible but still.

And then you can play your next card.
613 4/22/2024 2:09:00 AM Fall 1863 Union Message Guido,

Rule 5.22 page 16 reads:

The highest ranking non-commanding general in an Army may not leave the Army either by being dropped off or with a Corps move.

So if I read this correctly Longstreet's move is invalid.

This has been done before but it dates back from a move Jackson made in summer of 1862, journal entry 314.
I didn't know it then and we cannot turn back the clock. So be it. I forgot about it but just realised this move to be also in violation, me thinks.

Plse comment and now knowing my car play already, you are still free to make one move of the campaign card followed by a card play of your own.
612 4/21/2024 3:37:00 AM Fall 1863 Union Play Strategy card as Event #81: 3 / Emancipation Proclamation - Reshuffle/Remove
Either player must play this card as an EC on the Strategy Round immediately following a Union large or medium battle victory. Confederate loses 10 SW and 3 SPs (his choice). Union loses 5 SW. Flip GT marker to its Emancipation Proclamation side. Card must be the last one played by a player at which time it can be played as an OC card. If the play of this card as an OC results in a battle victory, there is no Emancipation Proclamation Remove from deck if event is played. If this card is played as an OC or discarded re-shuffle deck at the end of the Strategy Phase.

Message from Union:
I have no choice but to play this :

609 4/19/2024 12:20:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Message Hi Andre, congrats with your naval victory. The only thing indid was to avoid sea space where the French enjoyed numerical superiority. For the rest it was mainly avoiding collisions. Kind of surprised i was the one that fired the most shots on our side.
