Important Message !!!!! Matthew has done a rethink on tomorrow’s game. Tonight Matthew and I are going To play the 8 turn opening scenario of Barbarossa to Berlin and tomorrow when you come over we are going to ply the same scenario. You will be the Axis and we will be the Allies. I think it is 8 turns. More dynamic/fun than POG. Looking forward to it !! |

Painful, isn't it?!!! That's why I loathe being on the receiving end of that card ... it's a two card swing, which is huge in this game! After we both played 6 cards, we both still had 3 cards remaining. You then played your "3" card which brought you to 2 cards remaining, versus my 3. I played that terrible event card which temporarily brought us both to 2-2. You then had to transfer one card to me, so that swung it back to 1-3. And since I just played that event card, it is your turn! That's why it is such an evil, evil card. |

You can redo that move if you'd like. In retrospect, I realize I was mistaken when I said Scipio couldn't accompany Flaminius. I keep misremembering the ranking rule regarding generals. I keep forgetting that it has nothing to do the numbers on their playing pieces; it is purely their consul/proconsul status (and Hannibal versus everyone else on the Carthage side). So, your turn started with Scipio in Agrigentum as you had originally planned. You can either redo your card play or move an additional general. |
