In my head was the old way of doing it which was basically roll against Corps Leader, roll against Army leader with no subsequent counting in of contributing units. I find I have to work carefully through the rules as my faint deep memories do not exactly align with them.

If you have a big battle concentrating on a hex or two the Corps/Army actions are crucial.

This roll is subject to the 2 bullets under 5 Roll for command [it was more straightforward in the original rules, which is why I had to read up] If it fails they all get F1 and the impulse is over.

If the roll succeeds it will be on to see if Ricketts contributes in a Grand Assault using Pope's rating for another roll.

I don't think units entrenching will have any effect on this game as it would take two recovery phases to complete and entrenchment.
Units at fatigue level 0 or 1 have their disorganized markers flipped back to organized. This will affect only the 1 ME Union cavalry as I see it.
Units with fatigue level 0 or 1 which are on their exhausted sides are flipped to their normal side. This does not affect anyone that I see.
No units have demoralized markers at this time and no units are at fatigue level 3 or 4.
Then all units have their fatigue level reduced by up to 3 levels. This will remove all the fatigue levels.

That was a good march roll by Jackson and AP Hill and Ewell get 6 + 2 for a total of 8 movement points. Jackson will stay with AP Hill. First, Ewell will lead his men through Robertson's cavalry 5 movement points to 1223 and take up a position behind the creek and stop. Next, Jackson with AP Hill will move 4 movement points to 1523 and try to eliminate / capture Crawford's brigade. I will do a column of route attack (-3 modifier) against Crawford. Ratio modifier is 18 to 1 which gives the maximum +13 to the attacking Confederates. Tactical modifier is +4 for Jackson's 5 to Crawford's 1. Artillery modifier is NE. Net is +14 drm for the attacking Confederates and +0 for the defending Union.

In looking over the recovery section, I think Robertson and Bayard cavalry should have had their counters flipped to the exhausted side from the end of last turn. They had been a F3 or F4 and the recovery sequence #4 I think we missed that. I'll also try to fix that on my next move.
