Carentan is cleared. All ten German units there are destroyed. Carentan and area 32 to Allied control. The DR ends the day (and the game) however, which I believe gives you the win. I needed one more impulse to contest Caen and get the win!! Alternatively, if I had not declared a double impulse, I could have used the advantage for a re-roll of that roll. Oh well, quite an exciting game. Thanks Henry!! |

On reading 12.7 again, I think you are right. The first sentence deals with tracing a path from the Beach to the depot, while the second deals with the path from the depot to the refitting unit. |

12.7 seems ambiguous. On the one hand it says that "the path from that depot to it's Beach can can only cross Free areas controlled by its own nationality." Just a few sentences later though it says that "The path between a refitting unit and its depot may pass through areas controlled by the other nationality without penalty." |

It seems to me that it is an illegal move only if all units wanted to stay in A20 and you would be over stacked. CCB passes through first to A22. And your intent was to attack A20. That leaves A20 with 10 units. |
