Stephane, Agreed: thanks for adjudicating this game. Jean Louis, it's always a pleasure and a challenge to face an inventive, resourceful and gentlemanly player like yourself: you always seek to aggressively seize the initiative and ask continuously complex questions of your opponent. Thanks for the pleasingly tense and entertaining games: I hope we meet on the field again soon! |

Thank you for the map and your comments. First, it will not influence the result of the pool because Domenico is ahead with 3 victories in the pool. I think Union is the winner of this game. Union is not in bad position and Csa SW is not so high for a turn 6. hope you agree. |

I have no real idea for the final winner of this game. The position of CSA is strong in Virginia but with the arrival of Grant, it can be changed quickly. According to me, SWs (about 120 for USA vs 81 for CSA) is promising for USA. I would let Stephane decides |

Jean Louis, hello, and I hope all is well. The fate of this game still very much hangs in the balance. Still, the Union has not been able to make any inroads into the Confederacy, has not got any forces to speak of in the Central or Western theatres, has incurred heavy material losses so that even in the East it does not hold a numerical advantage, and has not materially dented Confederate production nor Strategic Will. While there is still a lot to play, and the best Union Generals are yet to arrive, in my opinion, on balance, it is slightly more likely that the Confederacy would win this game, rather than the Union. Do you concur? Thanks! |
