I hope that is the answer, but we’ll see. The rules clearly state that you can’t leave a leader with no SPs, but doesn’t really talk about leaving more than one general with inadequate SPs to make a legal corps. |

This one still confuses me. Interception is tricky as I have a lot of generals. Interception would be with Burnside or Buell, plus Pleasonton with success on 1-3. Normally the whole force has to come except that 1 SP can be left in a fort, which would be an interception force of 3 SPs. However, that would leave Pope, Hooker, and either Burnside or Buell (depending on who intercepts), with only 1 SP. So, do I leave an additional SP in DC (2 remain in DC, 2 intercept), or do I still intercept with 3 and then you remove a general in DC after the round is over due to too many generals? |

You don’t have 2:1 odds so your turn ends with the battle - no possible PC placement. Any change? I may still attempt intercept. |

#128: 3 / Union Naval Supply Shortage The Union blockade level is decreased by one. Remove from deck if event is played. Message from Confederate: Activate AoNVA and 3. 1 - Gordonsville 2 - Culpeper 3 - Strasburg 4 - Winchester (You may attempt intercept) 5 - Harpers Ferry with AoNVA and 3 I believe CSA is +9 (using Stonewall) in a Small battle which is auto 1*/1 CSA victory. You may play a card, intercept. AoNVA and n2 will place PC with final move in Harpers Ferry after seeing if Curtis dies to leader loss |
