Filtering didn't work for me...but found where I placed Smith finally and didnpt record p/u Smith into the AoWest...#354 had the AoWest Gens listed and should have corrected the situaion then, but did not, so your solution with Ewell eating the bullet and sending Smith back to Dover with Price sounds like a generous solution, THANKS. |

#494 - "Where do you have Price in the Confederate army." -------------------------------------------------- You placed Price in Dover at #414 At #417 I advised you that I had Smith at Dover and asked if you wanted to place Price in Nashville, you never responded, so Price and Smith are both in Dover on my map. |

"Smith was already with the AoWest...and you correctly noted that I needed to place Ewell which I did..." --------------------------------------------- Smith was placed in Dover at #27 I filtered on "Smith" in the journal and he is mentioned by me as a possible intercept at #57. He is not mentioned again until you mistakenly placed him at #328 instead of Ewell. I also filtered on AoWest, and there is no entry where Smith joined or was picked up by the AoWest. When exactly do you believe Smith joined the AoWest? |

My bad on St Louis, SM 1 less SP to AoMO n9 However, your map is wrong on Bloomington. At #272, turn ends with n6 in Bloomington At #279 Grant activate from Bloomington, leaving 2 SP in fort Those 2 SP have remained there ever since. Please search "Bloomington" in the history to see for yourself |

Yank strats: I don't or didn't have any SPs in Bloomington for a while...have a fort but no SPs. STL had n2 at the end of the turn and no additions...take 1SP from there or 2? |

Smith was already with the AoWest...and you correctly noted that I needed to place Ewell which I did... I think we are good to go, yes? |

At the risk of beating a dead horse, Smith was not a general in the AoWest to be killed at #477. At that point, I believe you only had the other 4 generals. My map has Smith at Dover, where he has been for almost the entire game. At #328/329, you rolled to place Smith and AP.Hill after CSA SM. I pointed out at the time that this was an error, because it should have been Ewell not Smith and you concurred that it was a mistake. (#332/334) Can I suggest that we take your casualty roll at #477 and only count the first four rolls, with the generals in the same order as you stated without Smith? This would result in Ewell being KIA and leave Wheeler CB, JJ and Van Dorn under Jackson's command. |
