If this is the last card in a players hand or the second to last and the player holds the Emancipation Proclamation, if the condition is met, it must be played as an EC, if not it can be played as an OC. EFFECTS: 1. Union Blockade reduced by one (cannot become greater than 4 for the remainder of the game). 2. Union -2 SP Reinforcements for the remainder of the game (Union choice). 3. Thank you. Those Campaign articles really date me. Fury in the West was so unique back then, now is pretty humdrum as wargames go, along the lines of the original AH Gettysburg. [Which I played to death...few counters always being handled...] |
