I also thought it was all over for me once you destroyed my army and captured Washington. That march on Washington card almost ruined everything for me. A lesson I took from that was to have two armies near Washington for the Union, albeit they will be fairly weak still. |

Yes, better generals for the Union and fewer men for the Confederacy. Still, I should have put up a better fight. I misplayed the defense of Richmond badly. Thanks for the game. |

Thanks also for teaching me more of the game. I haven’t never made it to turn 8 before and didn’t realise how the game is configured more to the confederate earlier and then it swings to the Union once better generals come into the game. |

also that earlier combat should have resulted in my elite units being killed too, as I lost more than 2SPs. By my calculation, it should have been 4*/4, I think I get to use 3 generals in the combat not 2 as it would have been a +4drm if everyone is included. |

No it's only if the Confederate SW is greater than twice the Union SW: 17.21 STRATEGIC WILL: The Union player wins instantly if the Confederate SW value reaches zero. The Confederate player wins instantly at the end of the Fall 1864 game turn if the Union player SW value is less than 50, OR at the conclusion of any game turn if the Confederate SW value is greater than twice the Union SW total.
