59 6/18/2025 11:32:00 AM 217 BC Carthage Message we'll start you off with British
58 6/18/2025 11:19:00 AM 217 BC Rome Message You can go ahead and setup a game and we can give it a shot.
57 6/17/2025 11:14:00 AM 217 BC Carthage Message Okay, well let me know when you've taken a 1st run at the rules and we can start up an ACTS game - the British are favored as they win game if tied and have fewer colonies to control but similar to ROME in Hannibal their Generals are harder to active.
56 6/17/2025 9:18:00 AM 217 BC Rome Message That sounds great!
55 6/17/2025 6:43:00 AM 217 BC Carthage Message NO, I'm prety much Hannibal'd out.

We can certainly play a teaching game of Washington's War. We can play on either Vassal/ACTS or Rally the Troops.

The 2nd one is pretty neat as it does some of the paperwork and rolls for you - however it is very unforgiving if you make a mistake or his "pass" by accident so I do NOT suggest we do this first.

Do you have game / rules? I will send rules to you.
Also, there are some teaching aides on Boardgame Geek as well as GMT site itself.

Let me know what you think after looking over rules and then we can start an openfaced game if you want.
54 6/16/2025 5:35:00 PM 217 BC Rome Message I will try to sign up for that...it sounds fun.

I feel like I had a lot of good luck in our first 2 games. Would you like to go again?

I would also be happy trying Washington's War, but that one would be new to me.
53 6/16/2025 5:13:00 PM 217 BC Carthage Message Okay you win - Hannibal is captured.

Sorry I was not a good enough opponent for you
Thanks for the 'lessons'..

You should try to sign up for the Hannibal ladder.

Thanks again for the game.
