I should have relocated my capital to Springfield. Hopefully, I won't have to make that decision in too many more games. I was very lucky at the beginning and then had terrible luck after. I had two hands, where I just had "2s" and "1s", that is pretty deadly for the North before Grant gets in the game. You did a good job of taking a gamble and concentrating all your muscle in one spot. The leader loss rolls were never in my favor, too. I'd like to play another game, same sides. Sound good? |

opened my eyes to the confederate potential in the east that the Union player must contend with. I think as confederate we traditionally protected Richmond too much and was afraid of the SW penalties. To keep the Confed from doing this every game and invading to the north in 62 with Lee is to to fight at every opportunity even if it means losing sometimes maybe. I did get some lucky rolls and had a 50/50 shot at the capital in 62 that failed. This was the first game I went all out in the east just to see what the potential was. |
