A very close game indeed! If not for the CBI, you would have won handily. Playing with only 6 cards delayed the attrition of the Japanese. You played the ABDA card well, and used the Commonwealth troops effectively in DEI to keep up your Political Will (that and keeping the Japanese in ISR). A couple of key cards at the end (Operation KE and Naval Replacements) kept me on life support. Thanks for the game. You made a great effort. |

well done ! I will concede at this stage. I could have won with favorable dice rolls (I still have a nice Iwo Jima ME in my hand), but Operation KE changed it into an impossible task. Manchuria 2 times in a row, but you never drew Tojo...too bad. I think the rules error with ABDA didn't put our game off-track too much (I could have put it at Kendari instead). I will review carefully your CBI Blitz to see if I could have done better. Loss of India costed me the few cards I needed to finish you off in the end. Great game, thank you ! |
