Some discrepancies with attrition: I had 8 SP in Richmond, so down to 6, I think. The 8 SP was from the last reinforcements (log #150) and no SP moved out during the turn. In Frederick, Union had 8SP plus the Cav Brigade. So I think Frederick is down to 6SP plus the CB. so 7 including the CB. Maybe thats what you meant, just want to be sure. |

I think the Kingston result should be 2/2 counting the fort, of course (bad luck for the rebels again!). Although all Union SP are eliminated, the victory holds because of the fort (winner eliminated 7.33A) Jackson, 1sp and the Wheeler CB retreat to Atlanta (which now has 2sp,Wheeler brigade, Jackson, Lee) Kingston has Burnside and the fort only. That ends the card play. So you can remove 2 generals from AoT, the only restriction in 5.29 is cannot select a *cavalry brigade*; so Forrest gets to stay. You can sack Longstreet and one other non-cavalry "excess" general. Smith? |

It looks like you get to send the excess generals to the turn track at the end of the round - 5.29 > I did not get a new general from reinforcements this turn; can I just drop Burnside into Jones? If so, yes. If not do I send one over by reorganizing generals? It looks like the options to get a new CO are: Either drop in a reinforcement general (in fact you have to if available 10.62), or else the first general into the space is the commander (10.63). I think that would be due to either a corps move, or a general reorg. By the way, the army cant move or intercept until the new general arrives (5.28) |
