So my calculations (please correct me if I'm wrong): For Zenica: Roll of 6 activates buffs from event. One Bosniak unit reduced before attack begins. Croatia rolls a modified roll of 5, for a multiplier of 1x to CF. Croatia CF is 12, eliminating one Bosniak unit and leaving Zenica with one reduced Bosniak unit in place. Bosniaks do 5 damage in return for no effect on Croat units. As Bosniaks took two step losses more than Croatia, Bosniaks must retreat, but I play the interrupt card "No Step Back" which negates that obligation. Croatia to address overstacking in Vitez. For Bugojno: Buffs from event are not activated. Roll of 7 means 1.5 times CF of 9 = 14. Bosniak unit destroyed. Bosniak defence is 0.5 x 3 = 1.5 and no effect on Croatian units. Croatia to indicate Advance a/a, and take -1 FA if moving into Bugojno (and change Sw +3 and -3). |

Played entrenchment effort card to complete previous turn (and to reflect in the logfile that I indeed had the card) and then discarded it. For my current turn, responding to Tomek's escalation in Srednja Bosna, I played Bosniak Refugee Crisis for the event, targeting Bugojno. The Croatian HV unit is moved into Jajce, and I follow up by moving my unit from Gornji Vakuf into Bugojno, using its 2 MF. I do not lose an FA (per the card), but SW moves due to the change of key. +3 to Bosniaks (to 18) and -3 to Croats (to 34). This gives me control of Srednja Bosna, for 7 SW (up to 25).
