As I noted before the Romans often are cured with poor general many require a 3 to move. This makes taking Corsica a possibility. Often the Romans have few or no cards to move there 3 generals. |

I will offer a few observations; Going last is powerful. Go first on T1 to get your PCs in place but going last has lots of benefits some of the more powerful are removing PC in an Area like Corsica and then going first to place PC for control. Threaten sea moves to Roman controled area. In the Combat where you played DEs to give me the initiative was ill advised given your card mix. Going into Northern Italy was a decent move but you were too weak. You actually don't have to attack with Hannibal early if you force isn't up to strength. I have won sitting in Cisalpinia and waiting with lots of CUs to duke it out with Africanus all the while harassing with raids by Mago. You must watch the providence count and not allow youself to get behind. Immediately start using card to replace the PC. You had a couple of Campaigns where you could have reinforced Africa, allowing me to get established there was a big problem. The attacker has the advantage especially vs leaders as it is had for them to CA , Hanno should have been moved forward where he can attack any sea move to Africa. When he came out he came out with a force that was weaker than I was and placed himself in a position where I could attack him with a stronger force AND get the first combat play and you have roll for a CA with a 2 leader. At this point Hasdrubal was not needed in Spain and should have been In Africa, One extra Combat card and easier to Counterattack. You should have reinforced him with Mago to 10 CU. |

Since I was so clearly out of practice, can we have a "teaching" game between the 2 of us? I'd like to get better so I don't get destroyed in my next match on the ladder. What I'm thinking is the hands are not hidden for a couple turns, so I can discuss different possible strategies and ways to play. |

Yes with you lack of PCs as it is and then lose another 9 your prosects are grim. You needed to fort up and replace PCs for a turn or two. starting last turn. Maybe threaten Corsica instead of Tarentum. Romans often have movement problems like this turn I had 2 3s and one 2, it would have been difficult to respond. |

You're beating me so badly I don't see how I can win at this point. Between the 5 PC for retreating plus the province advantage I have almost no PC control anyway. The game is over next turn. |
