Hi Jonathan, There are a few issues: a) The most important one: you can’t react because the battle hex is beyond the range of C.PAC-HQ, so you can’t bring in any units: "There must be at least one declared battle hex within range of this HQ (this range cannot be blocked by any means); if there are no such HQs, no reaction is possible. " Rule 7.26 b) Just for reference, you also couldn’t transport infantry through my ZOIs without CV support. c) The ground combat still needs to be resolved (without US-Marines) Please check, and if I’m correct, go ahead and resolve the ground combat. Hi Jonathan, There are a few errors: a) Your capital ships cannot hit my CVs because you have no air component. Rule 9.2.F4: “The corollary of this condition is that if one side has no air or carrier units present and the other does have one or more present, none of the air or carrier units can be damaged if they are not actually in the battle hex with opposing naval units.” b) Your reacting amphibious infantry unit cannot enter the P.M. hex because it is an un-neutralized Japanese ZOI. Rule 8.45B. Hi Jonathan, There are a few errors: a) You removed several flipped units that are OOS, but since they are within range of SW.PAC-HQ in Manila, they are not eliminated (rule 6.24.1 “Eliminate all reduced or single step air or ground units that are unsupplied, are not in a hex affected by an Emergency Supply Route (6.23), and are out of range of any friendly supplied or unsupplied HQ”). So the following units remain: [19LRB], [MA-AF], [AUS-AF], [P-Inf], [SL-Inf]; b) You can’t place units in a hex where there is only my ZOI; therefore ANZAC-HQ cannot go to Port Moresby; rule 10.11 (“Reinforcement unit may never be placed in an un-neutralized enemy ZOI.”); c) We forgot that the Solomon Islands become Japanese-controlled (Japanese controls Rabaul and Guadalcanal), so the Kent will have to perform an ENM. d) Remember to put the two discarded cards (n°9; n°24) back into the deck on ACTS.
