One result of my flooding mishap is that I will be unable to consult my board in the basement and will be dependent on your map scans for everything until this gets fixed and that is liable to be quite a while if they decide to tear down the siding as well as the carpeting. |

Sorry for the delay. We had a plumbing mishap yesterday that flooded our basement. I've spent the whole day siphoning water out of our basement and throwing out damaged stuff ... including both of my setup BKN games. Damn! I wouldn't be on line now except I'm waiting for a callback from the insurance adjustor. Anyway, the PD calls are easy on the beaches. Omaha is the 716/726. There is never any reason to defend with the CA when all four defenders are Fresh - the defense remains the same regardless so why expose the CA to disruption? On Sword, I will defend with the spent CA as the odds are too good not to do so. I don't like holding a unit back on Sword as the Allies - many do, but I think the risks outweigh the rewards. If I did though I would use one of the ss units rather than forfeit the 3rd div integrity bonus. |

It is amazing to me how in a giant stack of units the "KEY" unit (in this case the tank on Sword) is the ONLY one that is hit.....almost as if the 'fickle finger of fate' what having some FUN with us..... |
