I thought I would still have a case since until that last campaign, my SW was still higher than yours. But, that was a devastating Major. Looks like I picked the wrong time to pre-empt.

522 6/6/2026 1:23:00 PM Fall 1863 Union Message Union Victory Points:
1) Speed of play significantly favored Union
2) Start of turn 9 map board
Texas Union
Arkansas Union
Kentucky Union
West Virginia Union
Union owns 5 spaces in Missouri (CSA none)
West Virginia Union
Tennessee 10 spaces Union including Memphis-Nashville
3) Troops Strength Ratio
Union 65 to CSA 40
4) Strategic Will
Union 86+
CSA 70-
5) Blockade
Level 1
So, of the five listed factors Speed of Play, Map Board, and the ratio of troops strength (and given CSA gets only 7 reinforcements), I ask for adjudication in favor of the Union.

Message from Confederate:
you really shouldn't roll a battle before both sides have declared DRMs; now I know that if we use your result, +5 loses and +7 wins, and, more importnatly, +7 doesn't cause a leader casualty

in fairness, I will re-roll at +7, not because I know that +5 would lose on that result, but because I'm willing to risk the leader loss for a +7 which only loses to the dreaded 1-6 combination (and now I hope I didn't just jinx myself)

Forrest did not die. He won a battle in which his cavalry SP was eliminated and both sides were out of supply so there were no leader casualties. see log 271
