465 6/3/2017 4:47:00 PM Spring 1864 Confederate Message I'd love to do a re-match!
please set up a new one with me taking the Confederates again.

slow play is no problem with me because at times I also have to play slow due to work load and other considerations. I felt very comfortable playing with you.
464 6/3/2017 4:07:00 PM Spring 1864 Union Message Tobias,
I am going to concede this game, however, I am interested in playing again (as the Union). I really enjoy the game and see how I made some critical errors letting you invade the North (multiple times). If you are interested in playing again, I can set up a new game. If not, I understand, I was a real slow player this game. I am also interested in WW, MMW, PoG, EotS or 1989 if you want to try something different.

401 3/19/2017 12:48:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Message this is the relevant part of the SR rule 10.21:

As a special case an Army can receive a SP if it is in supply and has an LOC of friendly or neutral spaces directly to the location of the SP (neutral RR connections are eligible in this situation). This movement can include both naval and overland strategic movement.
400 3/19/2017 9:43:00 AM Fall 1863 Union Message Tobias,
I am not the expert, but I did not use some of my Strat Move since my spaces were not connected by railroads, like Army of Missouri. I see that you moved 2SPs from Nacogdoches to AoTenn. I don't think that is a legal move per 10.21, but it is unclear to me in the second part of the rule if it has to be via RR or can be overland like your move. If your move is legal, I would like to send the 2 SPs in St. Louis to AoMO. Please let me know what the rule intents so I can learn.

Thanks,
Chris

375 3/4/2017 4:26:00 PM Summer 1863 Confederate Message Ft. Fisher is a port - Hooker + 3 SP can be moved from there with a 3 OPs card - or an appropriate event card - to any other port/coastal fort.

"Naval movement is conducted from any single Union-controlled port or coastal fort space (which are ports and an LOC is not required) into any other port or coastal fort (either side’s control)." (6.11)

so you can attack Wilmington from Ft. Fisher.
And if Wilmington has a US-PC you can bring SPs there by strategic movement.

CSA may never make an amphibious assault (6.5) - so: from Wilmington Ft. Fisher can not be attacked.

369 3/4/2017 9:18:00 AM Summer 1863 Union Message Tobias,
Just to follow up on the naval issues. So Hooker in Ft Fisher can attack Wilmington, but Wilmington cannot attack Hooker? Also to get more strength points there all I need to Strategic Move then there? Or do I have to use Naval Movement once again to get from Ft.Fisher to Wilmington.

I am not trying to tip my play, but I am having trouble seeing how I get Hooker to start being productive now that he has Ft Fisher and nothing else. It is not a port so I am not sure how I move him off of Ft Fisher. I read 6.0 many times, but it is just not clear to me
