122 2/9/2017 4:40:00 PM 1756 Early Season Britain Message The land spaces are HCN-HCS, and OCE-OCW.
121 2/9/2017 4:36:00 PM 1756 Early Season Britain Message Well, I am a bit surprised this is so hard for you to figure out.
However, there are actually 2 land "spaces" I moved over, so I would actually have to stop in OCE, not OCW.
Rule 6.3 Boat Movement.
Otherwide, the rules seem clear to me that "Boat Movement is conducted by moving up to nine spaces (regardless of terrain) using only river/lake connections. Exception: A force or unit moving by boat may pass over ONE land connection during its activation if each end is either an originally-friendly cultivated space or a friendly fortification.

SO, I must end my move in OCE. That IS allowed.
120 2/9/2017 2:05:00 PM 1756 Early Season France Message You have enough movement but I am not sure about the rules. The hex of Ticonderoga is not totally river but actually a lake and a river divided bý land.

I have followed all the other rivers and apart from the big carries, this is the only place where the map has a broken river. You have a stockade so there is no problem crossing it, but I am unsure if it counts as a carry. If it does, you can't cross back again due to the rule of only being allowed to cross one carry...

It seems so small that I suggest rolling dices. 3+ it is just a typo from the map makers and doesn't count as a carry and you can cross it as many times as you want. 1-2 it is a carry. What do you think about that?
119 2/7/2017 8:51:00 PM 1756 Early Season Britain Message Can I do that?
118 2/7/2017 8:51:00 PM 1756 Early Season Britain Message Actually, that's not what I did. I move Loudon one space north, dropped the 3-4, then moved the lest of his army to wherever on the Mohawk trail it went. Probably OCW.
117 2/7/2017 4:04:00 AM 1756 Early Season France Message I am back

Regarding your last move. If you activate Loudoun and his stack you can't split it. If you want to attack Crown Point, the stack moves there. Then you can drop a 3/4 there after whatever we have and move on towards OCW, but you can't send a 3/4 all by it self. That takes another activation.

Back to you to decide what to do with Loudoun and his units

116 1/31/2017 10:16:00 PM 1756 Early Season Britain Message OK, whenever you can.
115 1/31/2017 1:27:00 PM 1756 Early Season France Message Hi Gordon. Forgot that you are not part of the Napoleon game anymore. I am of skiing this week with only access via IPad. So I can't see the map nor make files

I play this as an interrupt to stop Shirley entering Crown Point. His group stops at Ticonderoga...

I will have to think about what to do next. I'll do my impulse later today
91 1/16/2017 5:07:00 AM 1755 Late Season France Message Hi Gordon
I planned to make another go for Oswelgo and read the rules regarding battles and forts. I found two things that will change the current situation.

In play #77, you rolled for leader loss, rolling 4 and 6, interpreting 6 as leader loss. The 1 and 6 is opening the possibility to roll for leader loss, but you need to roll 1 to kill a leader, so Dieskau is still alive.

Second I found out, that rule 5.4 says has an exception saying “A player may NOT carry out construction with two card plays in a row, even after beginning a new season.”

You started the fort in HCN as play #68 and constructed the forts in HCN and Alegheny South the impulse after in play #82. I am okay with that, but I’ll just let you know, that you will not be able to build stockades down the Oneido Carry West/East river way nor at Ticonderoga next impulse. This may disrupt your efforts to lay siege to my fort/units at Crown Point as you have only two cards left. You can’t build stockade next impulse so the stockade Ticonderoga will have to be built with your last card hence no activation for siege in the last impulse.

Do you want to redo your current impulse?
Best
