629 8/12/2017 1:12:00 PM Summer 1864 Confederate Message I will be vacationing in New England from 8/14 thru 8/25 and not have access to the internet. Catch up with the game upon my return. Will do what I can till I leave on Monday the 14th.
628 8/9/2017 11:43:00 PM Summer 1864 Union Message Right. I found it in the *new* rules [new for me at least.]

Good to go. Sheridan returns next season.
627 8/8/2017 11:11:00 PM Summer 1864 Union Message Really??? That seems odd. I’m not complaining you understand, but are you sure???

It is going down to the wire, that's for sure. I can't afford to go below 50 SW if I want any chance of winning.
626 8/8/2017 10:37:00 PM Summer 1864 Confederate Message Well, as I see it, ole Sheriden doesn't have a Cav replacment...so he comes back next season as you indicated...but NOT Kilcav...he is Pleasanton's replacement. DANG!

I feel better that you rolled anyways. :-)

I gotta think about this last move...you have me on the ropes...I gotta get that rabbit outta the hat from somewhere!
625 8/8/2017 4:16:00 PM Summer 1864 Union Message Kipatrick comes back next season as Sheridan replacement [I think]

Yanks take Chattanooga & cost them 3SPs - n7....but wait, one of their Gens does not report back into the command tent! Lets see who it might be....naw, let you roll for that one...could be pretty important if it is Sheriden.

You roll for that one! :-)

571 6/10/2017 6:30:00 PM Summer 1864 Union Message Just to clarify fully:

WDC:
3SPs to Manassas/AoP n8
2SPs to Grafton n7
WDC n7
Bloomington: 6SPs to AoM n11
Cairo 4SPs to AoM n15

AoT is 9SPS after Attrition.
570 6/7/2017 12:22:00 AM Summer 1864 Union Message You are right. I forgot that I moved four SPs to Grafton of the 11SPs in Bloomington last season.

AoM is the Problem, with 7SPs, after attrition 5SPs.

Sooo. The 4 SPs in Cairo go to AoM along with the 6SPs from Bloomington for n15. Only 2SPs are in Strasburg.

Good now? Sorry about that confusion. It was my error, of course.

569 6/6/2017 9:32:00 PM Summer 1864 Confederate Message I'm cornfused, bud...

Your note of =>
So after attrition:

AoP n6 => correct...lost 2SPs in the battle at Manassas, then -2 for attrit.
AoT n10 => You had 12 at the beginning of the season, took fort Dover & dropped 1, and moved to Clarksville, so after Attrit s/b n9
AoM n9 => not correct from the log. When AoMo was created it had 7SPs...no fellas joined it that I could see...so after Attrit s/b n5.

Lets see if we can agree on this stuff first then see where you want to put all those reinforcements.

568 6/6/2017 10:11:00 AM Summer 1864 Union Message Cairo 4SPs to Strasburg n6 AoT is still at n9

567 6/6/2017 8:36:00 AM Summer 1864 Confederate Message Yep, no problem, Bill!
566 6/5/2017 10:34:00 AM Summer 1864 Union Message At the beginning of the Spring 1864 season. #516
AoT n12
AoP n10
AoM created n11

#542 AoP lost 2SPs. Should have been n8

#546 I have AoM as n7 wrong. N11 from 5SPs there and 6SPs for reinforcements.

So after attrition:

AoP n6
AoT n10
AoM n9

I’ll need to redo the strat moves a bit, if that is alright…

565 6/4/2017 11:27:00 PM Summer 1864 Confederate Message I have the total SPs in AoMoLand & AoTenn reversed => see 559 & 557...is that what you have on your map?

May not be discarded by the Union. Union must use this card as an OC. If at the conclusion of movement, a Union SP is not on or adjacent to Grand Ecore, LA, then the Union loses 5 SW points. If a Union SP is in one of the objective spaces then a Union PC marker can immediately be placed to convert the space or spaces. Remove from deck if Union plays card.

549 5/27/2017 10:58:00 AM Spring 1864 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #30: 3 / Glory Hallelujah
Union immediately receives three SPs for raising Negro troops. The SPs can be placed in any Union controlled space (even one without a LOC) that doesn’t contain a Confederate SP or fort.

Message from Union:

548 5/27/2017 10:58:00 AM Spring 1864 Union Return Strategy card to hand #82: 3 / Foreign Intervention - Reshuffle/Remove

Message from Union:
The 'can play' and 'If this is the last card' phrases with the this and the Emancipation card always throw me. It should read 'must be played as the last card unless conditions are met'. Very annoying.
547 5/27/2017 12:20:00 AM Spring 1864 Confederate Message Nope, cann't play that card unless it meets the criteria in the first or 2nd sentance...must be used as the last card in your hand, since the Emancy card is already out of play...

Another card SUH?
546 5/26/2017 3:17:00 PM Spring 1864 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #82: 3 / Foreign Intervention - Reshuffle/Remove
Either player can play this card as an EC when Confederate SW is 110+. If this is the last card in a players hand or the second to last and the player holds the Emancipation Proclamation, if the condition is met, it must be played as an EC, if not it can be played as an OC. EFFECTS: 1. Union Blockade reduced by one (cannot become greater than 4 for the remainder of the game). 2. Union -2 SP Reinforcements for the remainder of the game (Union choice). 3. Union SW reduced by 10. Remove from deck if event is played. If card is played as an OC or discarded re-shuffle deck at end of the Strategy Phase.

Message from Union:
I am assuming I can use this card now. AoM in Bloomington n7, moves down to Clinton and converts.
