240 2/27/2017 11:23:00 PM 1759 Late Season Britain Message I won't complain about your luck after all of those good cards..

Congrats and good luck in the next round!
239 2/27/2017 11:21:00 PM 1759 Late Season France Message I agree from here there is no hope. But I really though I was going down when you hit the courier and won the opening battle below Montreal. It did come down to needing to make the intercept rolls. Good thing Montcalm didn't catch a bullet in that first big battle. Thanks for a good game, it was a little more luck on my side at the end to save me.
238 2/27/2017 11:18:00 PM 1759 Late Season Britain Message Nah, I'm not making up the points now. I'll concede.

Masterfully done. I told you all that luck I got wouldn't matter :)

Message from France:
Montcalm must attempt intercept. He can command all so leaves 3x[2-4]Regulars behind. He has 5x3-4, 6x1-4, 4x[2-4] and 3x[0-6]Cdb
227 2/27/2017 10:53:00 PM 1759 Late Season Britain Play Strategy card as Operations #55: 3 / French Regulars
May not be played if French Regulars already played this season or after Quiberon. REMOVE Place two 3-4 Regular units, and, if not yet in play, Montcalm, Levis, & Bougainville at either Quebec or Louisbourg.

NOTE: This card was held from the Start turn.

Message from Britain:
Well, then I can't think of anything besides crossing my fingers.

Wolfe and everyone attack St Jean
226 2/27/2017 10:46:00 PM 1759 Late Season France Message Yes, unlike Washington's War in WW per 6.72 each space entered is a new opportunity for one adjacent unit to make an intercept attempt.
225 2/27/2017 10:43:00 PM 1759 Late Season Britain Message Rules question..

Hypothetically, if I have a Campaign, can you intercept the first leader, fight a battle, and then intercept the second leader with the same stack?
224 2/27/2017 10:34:00 PM 1759 Late Season France Play Strategy card as Operations #47: 3 / Troop Transports
French may not play after Quiberon or if Quebec is British controlled. Restore 3 French or 6 British reduced Regular or Light Infantry units to full strength.

Message from France:
Villiers goes to Adirondacks North.
Use last card to move the 3-4 from Kahnawake to Montreal. Burn stockades at St. Jean and Sorel.

That is it for me. All I can do is attempt intercepts.
223 2/27/2017 10:10:00 PM 1759 Late Season Britain Play Strategy card as Operations #5: 1 / Bastions Repaired
Replace a Siege 1 or Siege 2 marker on the map with Siege 0. (You must use a whole Action Phase to play this event.)

Message from Britain:
Move the Tuscora and Cauoga to Adirondack C. Villers needs to go someplace.
222 2/27/2017 10:07:00 PM 1759 Late Season Britain Return Strategy card to hand #55: 3 / French Regulars

Message from Britain:
Yeah, duh, hard to do boat movement when you need to go 3 spaces to get on a boat.

221 2/27/2017 10:00:00 PM 1759 Late Season France Message Levis is also at St Jean with the 0-6Cdb and a stockade. The problem is that Dunbar can't go that far. He starts on a stockade so he can make on carry to HCS but then he can't make the second carry to get to HCN. Basically he can only go 4 spaces and get to Crown Pt.
220 2/27/2017 9:56:00 PM 1759 Late Season Britain Play Strategy card as Operations #55: 3 / French Regulars
May not be played if French Regulars already played this season or after Quiberon. REMOVE Place two 3-4 Regular units, and, if not yet in play, Montcalm, Levis, & Bougainville at either Quebec or Louisbourg.

Message from Britain:
Dunbar takes 2x2-4 up the river to St Jean (where I think there is an 0-6 and a stockade).

You can intercept.

Destroy the stockades at GMS and Charleston
219 2/27/2017 9:52:00 PM 1759 Late Season France Play Strategy card as Operations #21: 3 / Louisbourg Squad.
Play if you control Louisbourg. REMOVE? No Amphibious Landings this year. On a roll of 1-3, REMOVE, no French naval moves ever, and British may play Quiberon. (Place markers.)

Message from France:
OK so Wolfe has 29. Use this for individual activations.

1-6Cdb at La Belle River to Niagara.
[0-6]Ojibwa at Little Seneca River to Irondequoit (going the long way to avoid an intercept option from the Seneca).
[0-6]Huron from Green Mtn N to Becancour.
1-6Cdb from Adirondacks Central to Oswego.

Burn stockade at Kahnawake
218 2/27/2017 9:45:00 PM 1759 Late Season Britain Message Crown Point should also have a 3-4.
No holes :)
217 2/27/2017 9:31:00 PM 1759 Late Season France Message I think I am missing one of your 3-4s. I have the following forces in the Hudson Valley;
HCN 1x3-4 and stockade
Ticon 1x3-4 and stockade
Crown Pt Stockade
Winooski Amherst, Loudoun and 1x3-4
Ile-aux-Noix Wolfe, Webb, Johnson and 4x4-4, 3x[2-3], 1x[1-6]Lt, 1x[1-6]Rgr, 2x[0-6]Mo, 1x3-4 and 1x2-6Lt and stockade.

That is one less 3-4 that I think you should have so where is the missing guy?

Message from France:
Add another Militia. Total strength at Montreal is now 34 if I count the Militia.
214 2/27/2017 9:13:00 PM 1759 Late Season Britain Play Strategy card as Operations #20: 1 / Amphibious Landing

May not be played if British Assemblies Enthusiastic. Choose either the Northern or Southern Department and the British player must eliminate 1 of its Provincial units.

Message from Britain:
Amherst, 2x3-4, 1x2-6 move from Albany to Winooski
197 2/18/2017 8:14:00 AM 1759 Late Season France Message That is generous of you. At this level I should not need to be reminded of omissions no matter how obvious they are. Sometimes relying on the ACTS journal can bite if you are not careful. So burn the stockade at Winooski.

We are off to the airport so I won't be back on-line until next Saturday.
196 2/18/2017 12:01:00 AM 1759 Late Season Britain Message You can kill it if you want, nothing's happened yet
195 2/17/2017 10:08:00 PM 1759 Late Season France Message Wrote it down on my note pad and didn't type it into the log. So it is still there. The [Huron] can try to intercept, at least then it will get destroyed as I lose the VP.
194 2/17/2017 9:43:00 PM 1759 Late Season Britain Message Is there a stockade in Winooski?
(Do you want there to be?)

NOTE: The deck will be reshuffled before next turn's cards are dealt.

Message from France:
Use this for individual activations.
The [0-6]Cdb at Chenussio runs through his friends to prevent intercept attempts and ends in Kittaning.

192 2/17/2017 9:38:00 PM 1759 Late Season Britain Message (and yes, I'll flip a 3-4)

188 2/17/2017 9:29:00 PM 1759 Early Season France Message My Cdb is gone. Got the hit so you flip one Regular I assume. I will end the turn and see what we have to work with for the last hand.

178 2/16/2017 10:36:00 PM 1759 Early Season France Message OK trying to finish. The [0-6]Huron from Montreal goes to Green Mtn North.
Finally, the Cdb from Irondequoit runs thru the spaces just filled but he will also eventually trigger an intercept option at La Belle River. He is trying to get to Kittaning. So you get one more intercept option if you wish using the Ranger.

That is it for me tonight. Since I leave for my vacation on Saturday we will soon have to pause at what will clearly be a critical moment. Sorry about that.
177 2/16/2017 10:23:00 PM 1759 Early Season Britain Message Don't know why I bother
