135 3/24/2017 11:32:00 AM 1758 Early Season France Message 6.712 If an Auxiliary unit is Intercepted while attempting to Infiltrate an enemy fort or fortess space, it attacks the Intercepting units in a normal Battle outside the fortification, but the Infiltrator (only) must retreat—regardless who wins.

True that was what I read first, but then I read 6.721 which says only an auxiliary unit can intercept a lone Auxiliary unit entering a wilderness or mountain space.

Shamokin is a wilderness space, and I can't seem to find anything that indicates that having a fort there changes it from a wilderness space, or the requirement that the intercept be done by another auxiliary unit.

Then the question of, if the fort changes the rules for wilderness/auxiliary unit being required, I would figure the provincials unit would end at Shamokin?

One last thought came up as I reading the rules for the last 1/2 hour. It seems Militia can only respond to the actual raid space instead of the intercept space. If I am reading 10.2 correctly.

Sorry for questions, but not seeing where the fort changes the requirements for an intercept in a Wilderness space.

What am I missing?

Regards, Jeff

PS: after you show me the error of my ways I believe you have a possible
interception of one of my Indians on this campaign card and then I have one left to move.
134 3/23/2017 2:06:00 PM 1758 Early Season France Message I kind of figured the fort changed matters - could you point me at the rule section for that please, not where I would think it should be.

Also wouldn't the intercepting unit be placed at the fort now?

It's a new campaign card - seems I was blessed this turn.

Regards, Jeff
133 3/22/2017 6:42:00 PM 1758 Early Season Britain Message Is this a re play of the last campaign card or is this new? I am confused. Did you look at my last file?

131 3/22/2017 2:42:00 PM 1758 Early Season France Message - I really wish I had this game down better.
- Quick question the occurred as I was adding the Colonial Militia into the battle.
- Shamokin is a wilderness location, and militia is listed as responding to cultivated locations..... actually interception with Proviential troops into a Wilderness as well.
- Not seeing the exception, but I'm guessing the fort changes the requirment for a cultivated location?
- Also figure the Penn proviential unit is now in Shamokin?
- Sorry for all the questions, still trying to get a handle on this game.
- Small rule book, but I'm just not tracking on it for some reason.

88 3/11/2017 10:24:00 AM 1757 Late Season Britain Message simple you have one Indian dead 2 hits and i suffer no losses the other evaded. your turn
87 3/11/2017 10:19:00 AM 1757 Late Season France Message Actually I don't really log at the log file normally.

In this case it just shows the Indians set off to the side.

Still unclear on why at least the 1st one did not evade as I don't see any negative modifiers on the roll??????
86 3/10/2017 10:49:00 AM 1757 Late Season France Message Hummm.... okay a tad confused here.
I rolled a 5 on the first evade - so the first Indian should have evaded to Laurl Ridge.
Wasn't sure on the being able to roll for the second Indian - which would have been a 4 and would have evaded if it could.
But your attack seems to still target both?
