130 6/17/2017 1:07:00 PM 1758 Early Season Britain Message Just checked 6.3 & I have the rule correct:

"Exception: A force or unit moving by boat may pass over ONE land connection during its activation if each end is either an originally-friendly cultivated space or a friendly fortification (even if besieged, though the force or unit would have to stop upon entering it)"
129 6/17/2017 1:02:00 PM 1758 Early Season Britain Message If I am wrong about the rule & since I have already done the roll I suppose he would go as far as he can with the move before having to halt with the NProv which would be Kinderhook.
128 6/17/2017 12:58:00 PM 1758 Early Season Britain Message Sorry if I have the rules wrong but I thought you could portage over a single land connection if both sides are friendly cultivated. I forgot to apply the modifier
Sorry for that
59 5/31/2017 12:32:00 PM 1757 Late Season Britain Message Hi Jean: Couple of issues with the move.

First I think I have the option of deploying militia to the stockades before they are raided to battle with the auxillaries. I probably would have not done that since they seem more valuable in the department box so the raid rolls can stand as they are with no militia battles. Culpepper would be raided and the stockade destroyed.

Second, the Shawnee would have been flipped and the Mingo eliminated due to the -1 of two militia units in the department box. I know we didn't discuss using the optional rules and I probably would prefer not to use them other than the special tournament rules #1 and #2 (Same was the case with my last game where the British player preferred not to use them). However even if we were using 14.2 there would still be two militia in the department and the result on the Mingo and Shawnee would be the same. Anyway, if it was your understanding that we would use them we can work that out with a die roll or something however I'd probably prefer to default to the option where both players have to agree.

Sorry, not a big deal & something we should have spelled out at the beginning but I for one forgot.
