189 8/2/2017 9:55:00 AM 1758 Late Season France Message But the Indians are just peaceful natives. ;-)

Took me a bit to figure out the 4 vs 5 for my losses.

I think the person who did the module made an error, pull the CRT sheet from the game. Everything matches the one in the Vassal module except for the 1 on the 28+ column. The game shows a 4 vs the 5 in vassal.

I wouldn't have caught it except I checked something in the rules and just used the actual chart instead of looking in Vassal.

So I believe my taking 4 is indeed correct.

Regards, Jeff

Message from France:
- Let's see what I can do to turn the tide here.
- Okay "if" I am reading this correctly I capture a stockade when I move into the hex and can destroy it at any point during my movement phase?
- Dumas wll lead the Marine and Lingeris to Augusta capture and destroy the fort, then to Culpeper and do the same and then to Woodstock where I believe you can intercept.
- If I am wrong at that then they will stop in Augusta to capture and then destroy that one.
- Going to figure I'm correct and take out the first two, just adjust if I'm incorrect.
* British stockade destroyed by the French in Augusta (+1 VP).
* British stockade destroyed by the French in Culpeper (+1 VP).
* VPs: French 3
- Then Bougainville will bring the Marine, Joncaire to East Delaware, then Easton capture and destroy, then to Reading for the same and then Lancaster where you can intercept
- Actually no intercept in Lancaster so capture and desroy there.
- If incorrect I'll just move to Easton and capture and destroy
* British stockade destroyed by the French in Easton (+1 VP).
* British stockade destroyed by the French in Reading (+1 VP).
* British stockade destroyed by the French in Lancaster (+1 VP).

138 7/13/2017 5:18:00 AM 1758 Early Season Britain Message I think there was just a mistake in what you wrote :
you said : "I had originally flipped 4 of the 3-4's and the Indian."
but in the log, you wrote 3 only :
"* 3-4 Cambis in St-Jean reduced.
* 3-4 V. Étrangers in St-Jean reduced.
* 3-4 La Reine in St-Jean reduced."
and after you wrote
"* (2-4) V. Étrangers in St-Jean restored to full strength"
that doesn't match
2x3-4, 1 militia and 1 indian.

So I reduce : Cambis, V. Étrangers, La Reine, The militia and 1 indian.
you can play
137 7/11/2017 7:01:00 PM 1758 Early Season France Message Humm... thinking you need to pass me a card before you can play one from the courier event.

I had originally flipped 4 of the 3-4's and the Indian.
Then figured 3 of the 3-4's, Indian and Militia worked better hence the note on flipping one back. Sorry for the confusion.
136 7/11/2017 2:50:00 PM 1758 Early Season Britain Play Strategy card as Event #47: 3 / Troop Transports
