Message from Carthage:
Hannibal (8cu + 2ce + H. Gisco) on the move: 1) Mutina (drop 1 cu), 2) Ariminum.
108 3/8/2020 2:59:00 PM 217 BC Rome Message Half of 9%, seeing that a failed initiative roll by Hasdrubal would have meant a Roman victory too.
Anyway, luck and bad luck play and how to adapt to them plays an important role in the game.

Losses
Carthage 1 cu
Rome: 1 + 2 + 2 (due to retreat path losses)

Flaminius/ Scipio + 4 cu in Dertosa.
Remove PC Narbo and Nemasus

107 3/8/2020 12:16:00 PM 217 BC Carthage Message That wasn't the outcome I was expecting neither...
I had no Right Flank cards and only 1 Reserve so you were really 1 die roll away from winning it... Once I went through my straight of Probes and ran out, I thought I was doomed. And you rolled 6 consecutive times at 33% chance. That had a 9% chance to occur if my maths are correct.
For retreat, the closest is Dertosa.
106 3/8/2020 12:05:00 PM 217 BC Rome Message Donít have the map here. Will apply losses later.
I really thought the battle was mine for the taking after seeing my battle cards, but no.

About the interception: better to be precise with whom (what would have happened with Mago for instance) and with how many cu's you try to intercept. It's pretty obvious here but that's not always the case.

I'll deal.
78 3/8/2020 10:24:00 AM 217 BC Carthage Message Failure it is. I guess we meet in Carthago Nova for battle. You have 9cu + 2 Strategy w/ P. Scipio + 1 for Idubeda = 12 cards. I have 4 cu + 3 w/ Hasbrubal + 3 for the other 3 Iberian provinces = 10 cards. All good?
