Message from Britain:
British attack
42 6/5/2017 7:30:00 PM 1805-1806 Britain Message Squadron in Rotterdam to the North Sea
Works for me
41 6/5/2017 7:13:00 PM 1805-1806 France Message And what that is resolved, I won't be playing any battle cards in the Bay Of Biscay, so you can roll dice on that whenever you are ready.
40 6/5/2017 7:11:00 PM 1805-1806 France Message I checked the starting sheet and I agree France only has the one ship in refit. (Cyberboard obviously has a mistake in it.)

Since you rolled for the interception of the squadron leaving Marseilles into the Western Med, I propose we simply have the fleet in Rotterdam move into the North Sea and use that [failed] interception roll. However you can re-roll for interception if you think that would be fairer. And you can restart Britain's turn if having the French squadron in the North Sea would make a difference to what you did. But let's get that all squared away before we roll the dice for the Bay of Biscay because it is possible it might change that situation somehow.
39 6/5/2017 7:02:00 PM 1805-1806 France Message We should resolve the Marseilles thing before we roll any dice.
38 6/5/2017 6:58:00 PM 1805-1806 France Message Cyberboard had the two squadrons, so they must have made a mistake there. In that case, we can just flip flop and have the squadron from Rotterdam go into the North Sea instead of Marseilles into the Med. Otherwise we can go back and I can use that 0.5 CP elsewhere if you'd prefer.
37 6/5/2017 6:54:00 PM 1805-1806 Britain Message Bill you can roll battle
36 6/5/2017 6:51:00 PM 1805-1806 Britain Message France battle cards ?
35 6/5/2017 6:50:00 PM 1805-1806 Britain Message No battle cards for Britain
34 6/5/2017 6:48:00 PM 1805-1806 Britain Message Marseilles only has one squadron on
The set up card
33 6/5/2017 6:46:00 PM 1805-1806 France Message If it's 15 dice to 12, then we don't evade.

I thought France started with two squadrons in Marseilles, one that was ready to go and another that was being built. Is that not correct?
32 6/5/2017 6:30:00 PM 1805-1806 Britain Message Do you try to evade ?

Patrol Roll
30 6/5/2017 6:29:00 PM 1805-1806 Britain Britain: Play Strategy card as Operations #82: 5 / Scarce Supplies
All Units/leaders in play in excess of nine per Duchy Regroup regardless of nationality. The Leaders/Units removed are chosen by the Commander of the affected Duchies.

Message from Britain:
I know that you need to figure out the Marseilles thing
Squadron in Cornwall goes to Morth Atlantic
Squadron in Channel goes to North Atlantic
1 CP
They go to Mid Atlantic and then those 5 go to the Bay of Biscay
1 CP
We use another manouvre to patrol (2.5 CP)
29 6/5/2017 6:21:00 PM 1805-1806 Britain Message British squadron goes to Cornwall
28 6/5/2017 6:20:00 PM 1805-1806 Britain Message Squadron in Marseilles is under a build marker
27 6/4/2017 4:31:00 PM 1805-1806 France Message No intercept, so both squadrons coexist peacefully in the same waters.

Once Britain retreats their squadron from the Bay Of Biscay, it will be their turn. And don't forget preemptions aren't allowed during this first impulse round, so you can run amok.

Message from France:
Britain's interception attempt. They need a 6 (9 -2 being British -1 leaving port).
25 6/4/2017 12:29:00 PM 1805-1806 France Message The two squadrons in Brest and the one squadron in Bordeaux move into the Bay of Biscay (1 CP).

France builds 1 unit in Rome (2 CP).

With France's remaining maneuver (0.5 CP), the squadron in Marseilles moves into the Western Mediterranean. Do you intercept?
24 6/4/2017 12:17:00 PM 1805-1806 France Message Whoo hoo, victory! We sink two British squadrons, while losing one Spanish squadron.

Britain will need to declare to which of the nearest ports their surviving squadron retreats (noting that the ports in the North Atlantic and the Channel are one move closer than the ones in the South Atlantic).

20 6/4/2017 12:08:00 PM 1805-1806 France Message Here is the link to the ratings to which I was referring: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/11265/wellington/ratings

19 6/4/2017 12:05:00 PM 1805-1806 France Message If you read through the reviews (the Ratings section on Boardgamegeek site), you'll see that a number of people describe the game mostly revolving about battles, but that the battles themselves are a bit chaotic, luck-driven, and create non-historical results. I know unrealistic results is often a bugaboo for you, so you'd need to embrace that if we switch over.

In the meantime, I'll continue with this game until you decide with certainty that you want to switch.
18 6/4/2017 8:22:00 AM 1805-1806 Britain Message Bill
