73 7/7/2017 4:53:00 PM 1757 Early Season Britain Message Saving a card or playing? Also, to be sure, we only winter after the even rounds of cards correct? (Next 'season'?)
72 7/7/2017 10:08:00 AM 1757 Early Season Britain Message Wiped you out. Reduced the fort and took my losses. You're up.
71 7/6/2017 12:12:00 AM 1757 Early Season Britain Message Mmmmm...I'll tell you what would have worried me when this one is over. I was a little concerned about the raids, but only secondarily.
70 7/5/2017 10:47:00 PM 1757 Early Season France Message Granted, the Ticonderoga stack was a mistake, unless I wanted to dump more troops there.

But unless I'm missing something, the design intent for this scenario is me to "raid and pray". British seem to be the exact opposite. Threaten French troop concentrations, and otherwise just pick off forts as available?

Message from France:
Unless I'm missing something, I don't see any path to victory for the French but to hope for Raid VPs and hold on beyond that?

68 7/5/2017 10:12:00 PM 1757 Early Season Britain Message Level 1 Siege - I can now Assault. I'm at 21, so reduced to 13-16 due to Assault with a +1 die roll. You're on the 4-5. No cards from me.

Message from Britain:

66 7/5/2017 10:06:00 PM 1757 Early Season Britain Play Strategy card as Operations #10: 1 / Fieldworks
Play before Battle if you have Drilled Troops. If defending, place marker--attacker shifts 1 column left. If attacking, remove defender's marker. (Marker also removed anytime owner chooses or if attackers win.)

Message from Britain:
Bradstreet (Equal in rank with Dunbar): Siege of Ticonderoga +1
65 7/5/2017 9:51:00 PM 1757 Early Season Britain Message Hoosie: Colonials fail to intercept, militia defeated in the fort (lose a step), but no damage from raid.

Deerfield: Successful intercept and defenders won battle. (However, I shouldn't have brought in the militia as there was no stockade and a raid marker in the north. Wouldn't have changed outcome though. I can take the loss from militia or shift it to infantry, your call.)

Harris's Ferry: Infantry failed to intercept, but militia successfully fought to a draw in the fort, forcing native retreat.

Wright's Ferry: Infantry failed to intercept, no militia battle possible, but natives blew their raid roll.
64 7/5/2017 9:31:00 PM 1757 Early Season Britain Message 2 on cultivated for no result.

Raids seem like a lot of work for marginal gains...or maybe you've been real unlucky.

Message from Britain:
Natives infiltrate into Wright's Ferry. Rolling on Raid table at -1 due to 2 militia in South.
62 7/5/2017 9:27:00 PM 1757 Early Season Britain Message Both roll 3 at Harris's Ferry (Natives are minus one due to stockade). No damage to either side, so defender wins and natives retreat.

48 7/1/2017 10:05:00 AM 1757 Early Season Britain Message English take 4 Step Losses and win Battle.
French take 5 Step Losses.

I'll take mine then send you the file. I believe every odd unit has to be from a regular, no eliminations until everything has a step loss?

44 6/30/2017 10:27:00 PM 1757 Early Season France Play Strategy card as Operations #62: 3 / Quiberon Bay
Play if Louisbourg Squadrons REMOVED, if you control Louisbourg, or after 1759. REMOVE French may not play Diplomatic Revolution, Victories in Germany, Troop Transports, or Regulars. Starting next season, French get 7 cards and British go first.

Message from Britain:
OK, so you've got Natives in (Sth to Nth):

Culpeper - 1
Ashby's Gap -1
Carlisle (Fort) -1
Concord
Portsmouth

Guess I could have brought a Militia unit into those two battles, but didn't think about that. Oh well.
40 6/29/2017 9:43:00 PM 1757 Early Season Britain Message With the Indian move three forcing a retreat to York, and the Native moving into Shepherd's Ferry, it would have been the unit in Winchester making that last intercept.

39 6/29/2017 9:39:00 PM 1757 Early Season Britain Message Shit....Didn't realize you changed placement before ending your turn. Crap. Next time, better clearly mark which way your Indians are moving through my lines as it's not clear who can intercept.
38 6/29/2017 9:35:00 PM 1757 Early Season Britain Message This time no damage to me, Shawnee go home.
