Confederate Player may move 2 SPs using Strategic Movement from the same space using rail connections only (5 space maximum) to the same space with a Confederate General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more Union SPs or fort. The intervening space may be the one just exited by the moving enemy force. No Generals or SPs may be picked up or dropped off during the intercept.

That all makes sense now.

So, yes, just leave 2SPs in Bowling Green to end the turn.

With Bowling Green PC'd Reb, that would leave Nashville out of supply...so, 1SP would be lost to attrit and another lost to OOS => n2 in Nashville. do you agree?
78 8/4/2017 6:38:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message U Strat

77 8/4/2017 6:32:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message Going through your EoT notes, I think I see what the error was. You thought Pope took a unit form Nashville to Lebanon. He took the Bowling Green unit to instead and left 4 in Nashville. Nashville attrition brings it down to 3 not 2. Also, you mention attrition in Cairo, but there are only 2 CU there before hand. post 23 had 2 Cairo>Frederick
76 8/4/2017 6:23:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message So Polk leaves 2? in BG?
75 8/4/2017 6:15:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message OK, if you didn't go to Lebanon, then the move is legal. However, there was no U 1CU in Bowling Green. No battle, no casualties. In post 46 Pope moved the 1CU to Lebanon.
74 8/4/2017 1:04:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Message That is what I have on my map as well....I did not attack Lebanon.

Are we good to go?
73 8/3/2017 9:31:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Message I suppose that would work if Pope/1CU were in Bowling Green, but they are sitting on Lebanon per post 46.
72 8/3/2017 4:17:00 PM Summer 1861 Confederate Message Polks movement is within his movement capability....let's see if I can make sense of this and you show me where I am in error...

Polk moves from Memphis to Columbus (2MPs), then to Dover (2MPs - total of 4 so far), then to Clarksville (+1MP - n5), then to Bowling Green for the attack. That is 6MPs total.
Lebanon is Reb PC'd so the single Yank SP in Bowling Green is OOS.
Dropping 1SP in Bowling Green after the battle doesn't cost any MPs, so then back to Dover for another 2MPs => total of 8MPs used.

Where did I go wrong?
71 8/3/2017 6:53:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message I should say friendly controlled RR spaces. I'd be inclined to let the first mistake go as it doesn't really effect the battle. However the mistaken 10 space movement is critical to that attack and reset at Dover, so I think it must be rethought. Activation can be anywhere legal. You don't have to attack Lebanon if you choose not to.
70 8/3/2017 6:50:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message Not quite. Activations 2 and 3 OK, 1 still problematic.
1 US force is not out of supply. No RR LoC which effects it's movement capability, attrition and ability to recieve only 3SPs as an army. It doesn't effect combat supply which can be traced through neutral spaces.
2 C can't move 10 spaces if that includes anything but friendly controlled spaces. Polk can't cover all that ground and go through Bowling Green.
You still have one activation. You haven't had a bad roll yet, but that's just me whining.
69 7/31/2017 12:01:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Message Good to go for strats?
