265 10/21/2017 10:52:00 PM 1759 Late Season Britain Message Ok Mike, good game. Yes I agree your luck was pretty awful on the raid rolls. I really didn't have a clear idea at all what to do this last season and could have easily squandered my lead if you had had better luck on the raids. Started off thinking I should siege Louisbourg with Amherst and the big highlander reinforcement but decided that would take too many rolls with Montcalm on the loose and then went back and forth on whether to siege Montreal but didn't like the odds on that either due to your maxing out on militia there. Never seen that in a game before.
264 10/21/2017 6:10:00 PM 1759 Late Season France Message report your victory to Keith
well played

179 9/22/2017 9:06:00 AM 1758 Late Season Moderator Message That is not an autovictory. "All fortresses" means literally that, all the fortresses on the map including Montreal and Quebec.
178 9/21/2017 2:57:00 PM 1758 Late Season Britain Message Funny, I wasn't aware of that. So when 13.1 mentioned control all fortresses that means retain control of all the British ones?

I was kind of getting ready for the French onslaught of 1759 and dreading being the one on the losing side of getting troop transports and victories in Germany because the Brits are pretty beat up and the French have completed Festung St Lawrence. I agree that succeeding with the Courier card a second time was a major lucky break this turn and then pulling a second major campaign out of the blind draw. I was also thinking that if you had succeeded in KIA'ing Wolfe in the assault on Niagara I would have had a game ending dumpster fire on my hands. Didn't think about that when I was planning the move and got very nervous about it when I figured it out.

Anyway, good game (if it is an AV, still not entirely sure about it) and good luck going onward.
