Union may place two Union PC markers in any spaces within four spaces (includes river connections) of a single Union cavalry brigade. The four space range CAN be traced through Northeast Alabama. These PC Markers (in contravention of rule 11.3D), CAN be placed in blockade runner ports/ and or resource spaces devoid of Confederate SPs or forts (but may contain an Ironclad or Torpedoes), resulting in their immediate destruction. Remove from deck if event is played.

Message from Union:
Well this event seems pretty useless given the current state of my cavalry.

Pope/1 in Winchester:
1. Harpers Ferry pick up 1 n2 (1 remains)
2. Frederick pick up 1 n3 (Halleck/1 remains)
3. Washington pick up 3 n6

54 9/4/2017 3:12:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Message Yeah I just couldn't follow which guys ended up coming from where. I got it now.
53 9/3/2017 5:34:00 PM Summer 1861 Confederate Message Well, if I read the card correctly, I am able to rail up to 5 SPs to a general who is then activated. I moved 4 from the ANV and another from Savannah to Nashville and A.S. Johnston - that gives him a total of 6 SP and I then activate him and move into Bowling Green with all 6. Is that correct procedure according to the card? As for the other John-induced confusion, I wavered back and forth on how many guys to take with him so sorry about that. Does that make sense?
52 9/3/2017 4:31:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Message I'm a bit confused now - exactly who is moving where?
51 9/3/2017 3:15:00 PM Summer 1861 Confederate Message Sorry, I was worried about a general casualty and realize with all 6 guys in BG, I wouldn't be eligible so want to move all 6 up there - sorry for all the confusion and my lack of game knowledge!
50 9/3/2017 3:12:00 PM Summer 1861 Confederate Message Doh - left out the "4" - moving 4 units to Bowling Green with Johnston.
49 9/3/2017 3:08:00 PM Summer 1861 Confederate Message Sorry, meant to say I'm only moving units (leaving 2 in Nashville) to B.G. - hope that's ok
48 9/3/2017 3:00:00 PM Summer 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Event #75: 2 / Western Concentration Block
Confederate player can either remove or demote an army commander in any state except Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Florida for no political cost. OR Confederate Player may move 5 SPs using Strategic Movement (rail connections only) to the same space with a Confederate General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more Union SPs or fort. If a general casualty occurs in a battle caused by this card, the Commanding General is eligible, this is an exception to the rules. See 4.5 Remove from deck if event is played.

Message from Confederate:
Move 4 SP from ANV (n2) and the SP from Savannah, GA to Nashville (n6). Activate A.S. Johnston and move north to Bowling Green to attack. You can attempt an intercept and then we'll go from there.
47 9/3/2017 2:39:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #4: 1 / Costly Mistake
