Interrupt card, cancel a Naval movement initiated by a 3OC. This card cannot cancel a Naval movement initiated by an Event card (including a naval movement initiated by a campaign card event). Remove from deck if event is played.

Message from Confederate:

311 2/4/2018 2:34:00 PM Fall 1862 Union Message Thank you, I forgot to increase the AoP size at the end of my message 290. Those extra two guys will end up in Manassas (n2) and Harpers Ferry (n Buell/2) instead. There are several ways to make that work in my last move, let me know if you require a specific path.
310 2/4/2018 1:07:00 AM Fall 1862 Confederate Message I had the AoP with 9 SP - I'll check again but think that was correct???
309 2/3/2018 2:29:00 PM Fall 1862 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #48: 3 / Brazil Recognizes the Confederacy

308 2/3/2018 1:15:00 AM Fall 1862 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #105: 1 / Detached Cavalry
Played prior to a battle against an army possessing one or more cavalry brigades. The ONLY effects are the Army’s Commanding General’s battle rating (offense or defense) is immediately reduced by 2 and no Cavalry general’s battle ratings may be used in the battle. The effects end at the conclusion of the battle. Cavalry generals are not available for casualty determination. OR: Place one PC marker in any space within four spaces (includes river connections) of a single cavalry brigade. The four space range many not be traced through Northeast Alabama. The space may not contain an enemy SP or fort, but may contain an Ironclad or Torpedoes.

Message from Confederate:
Division move:

Activate SP in Charleston and move to Wilmington
307 2/2/2018 3:53:00 AM Fall 1862 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #103: 3 / Seven Days/Chattanooga
Either player may move 2 SPs using Strategic Movement from the same space using rail connections only (10 space maximum) to the same space with a General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more enemy SPs or fort. OR play this card as an automatic 2 space interception. Intervening space must be friendly controlled and free of enemy SPs. The intervening space may be the one just exited by the moving enemy force. No Generals or SPs may be picked up or dropped off during the intercept.

Message from Union:
Sadly I cannot use this to pull some of Pope's guys into AoC to get that 3:1 modifier - it's the concentration hex, not the attack hex, that must be in an original Confederate state.

So instead Butler/1 in Fayetteville, NC activates, picking up his SPs back up from behind him (now Bulter/3), and moves to Old Hundred (drop 1), then Salisbury (drop 1), then Melvers (ends as Butler/1).
306 2/1/2018 2:09:00 AM Fall 1862 Union Message Will figure out my next move tomorrow.
305 2/1/2018 2:08:00 AM Fall 1862 Union Message Yes that is allowed to free up the fort & blockade zone.
304 2/1/2018 1:00:00 AM Fall 1862 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #16: 2 / Grierson's Raid
Union may place two Union PC markers in any spaces within four spaces (includes river connections) of a single Union cavalry brigade. The four space range cannot be traced through Northeast Alabama and may not contain a Confederate SP or Fort, but may contain an Ironclad or Torpedoes.

Message from Confederate:

5. drop 1 in Bowling Green (AoC now 8), attack Nashville. Per 7.22 you cannot retreat from this one although I doubt you would anyway.

Medium battle again, modifiers still +2 USA and +5 CSA. My * results do not count since it's a resource space.
298 1/30/2018 11:55:00 PM Fall 1862 Confederate Message Will retreat to Nashville, adding A.S. Johnston, Morgan and the Sp there to AOT (now 5 SP)
297 1/30/2018 2:02:00 AM Fall 1862 Union Message Ok, so that was only one movement point so far since I came from Louisville.

2: convert Lebanon
3: move to Bowling Green - do you take the automatic retreat?
296 1/29/2018 9:44:00 AM Fall 1862 Confederate Message Yeah, sorry about that. I had my map correct but got the ACTS wrong. Will retreat to Bowling Green

292 1/23/2018 2:40:00 AM Fall 1862 Union Message Per 8.3 - "The attacker’s LOC is determined through the space from which he enters the battle" so my first hunch was incorrect and fighting Louisville would put me out of supply if I came from Frankfort. Therefore my 2nd move is to attack AoT with AoC. Retreat or fight?

I am at size 10 to your 5 so I can keep moving if I manage to win. Medium battle. My DRM is +2, yours is +5.

287 1/16/2018 10:29:00 PM Fall 1862 Confederate Message Yeah, I mistakenly marked you as having taken over the fort on that turn so have had it wrong this whole time. Thanks for pointing that out and I'll change my move based on that if that is ok.
286 1/16/2018 3:31:00 AM Fall 1862 Union Message Only prior mention of it is in message 7 - I ran the guns past it with my very first move of the game, which wrecked the Columbus Resource Ctr, but didn't seize the fort.
285 1/16/2018 3:30:00 AM Fall 1862 Union Message Assuming that means Ft. Gadson, then I'm not showing a USA PC marker there. Let me check.

275 1/10/2018 11:32:00 AM Fall 1862 Confederate Message Ah, just remembered this is a major campaign so glad I didn't do my move! Do your casualty roll and your final activation for the move.
274 1/10/2018 12:05:00 AM Fall 1862 Confederate Message Oh, and I forgot you need to do a casualty roll. Not sure if I should do it so I'll wait and let you do it. You have to roll a 1 to take a casualty.
273 1/10/2018 12:02:00 AM Fall 1862 Confederate Message Looked a bit more on the SW so thinking this is what it should be (again, please double check):

USA: was at 108+ so down 5 and and another 3 to 100-
CSA: was 98- so up 3 and another 2 to 103+
272 1/9/2018 11:55:00 PM Fall 1862 Confederate Message Lots of 6's - good for casualty roll as Stuart dodges a bullet!

ANV down to 7 SP and AOP down to 8.

CSA gets a +3 SW and USA gets a -5. If I have my board correct, put the USA down to 103- while CSA goes from 99- to 104+ - please double check that!

I'll ponder my next move a bit and will get back to it later.

Then, depending on the Forrest question, Jackson will be with Forrest and 4 SP in Grafton or with 5 SP and Forrest still in Weston.

234 12/4/2017 6:55:00 PM Summer 1862 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #26: 3 / Cotton is King
If played by Union, reduce Confederate SW by 2; if played by Confederate, Confederate immediately receives two SPs in any Blockade Runner port, no more than one SP per port, but more than 1SP per Blockade zone is permitted. If insufficient ports are available, the excess SPs are lost. Remove from deck if event is played.

Message from Union:
Place PCs in Wilmingont, Lumberton, and Fayetteville.

Fayetteville Resource Center is destroyed. CSA SW -3 n95-, USA SW +3 n111+

Place an Elite unit marker in any space with an Army. CSA: Stonewall Bde or Hood’s Tigers. USA: Iron Bde or Wilder’s Bde. Cannot be played if all elite unit markers are in play for that side.

Message from Confederate:
Add Hood's Texans to the ANV
232 12/2/2017 1:20:00 AM Summer 1862 Confederate Message Actually that's Butler instead of Banks not that it matters as far as the move.

229 12/1/2017 10:47:00 PM Summer 1862 Confederate Message Can you move Banks with that card? It's a 2 and he needs a 3 unless I'm missing something.
228 12/1/2017 7:18:00 PM Summer 1862 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #59: 2 / Farragut
Union may make a naval more with up to three SPs plus one general. Move may pass one ungarrisoned fort without “running the guns” to conduct an amphibious assault (may not pass an ironclad). Ignore first torpedo encountered during naval move. If the port space is captured it immediately receives a Union PC marker. Add +2 to Running the Guns die roll.

Message from Union:
Maybe if I were better at the game I could find a useful way to make this event work out....

Banks/2 leave Wilmington,NC (n1)
to Lumberton (drop 1)
end in Fayetteville as Banks/1
227 11/29/2017 8:37:00 PM Summer 1862 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #18: 2 / Confederate Inflation

Message from Union:
First die: Union +2
Second die: Rebels +3
224 11/22/2017 6:56:00 PM Summer 1862 Confederate Message I also have Price in Columbus so the DRM will be +3 - will let you roll it after you consider that and decide to attack.
223 11/21/2017 2:14:00 PM Summer 1862 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #2: 2 / Copperheads
Reduce Union SW by two points, or place two PC markers in Ohio (must be placed in spaces free of Union SPs).

Message from Union:
Activate Burnside (leaves 4 in Paducah):
1. To Cairo pick up 2
2. to Ironton pick up 1 n3
3. to StL pick up Fremont/1, nFremont/4 (StL left with 1)
4. Ironton
5. Cairo
6. To Paducah (space now Burnside/Fremont/8)
7. Leave Fremont/2 in Paducah, attack Columbus with Burnside/6

Medium battle. I have +2 for 3:1 ratio, you have +2 for Fort. Over to you to react and/or roll.
222 11/21/2017 1:51:00 PM Summer 1862 Union Message Also you were attacking out of supply which should have been an additional +2, but I think the outcome is the same.
221 11/19/2017 10:43:00 PM Summer 1862 Confederate Message Actually, in looking at the small battle chart, I think the result was 1,1 so the USA won. Still since you were eliminated and had no fort or general there, I could continue to move but won't.

Also, in the previous battle, Banks goes to the track
220 11/19/2017 10:39:00 PM Summer 1862 Confederate Message Each lose 1 - I'll stop there with Longstreet and 2 SP in Pollard
