57 9/1/2017 5:57:00 AM 1757 Late Season Britain Message I actually have another campaign card! I also have raise rates and victories in Germany. Don't have the surrender card though because otherwise I could capture TICON and crown Point without any problem...

I am surprised you didn't use British ministerial crisis.

Anyway may as well end this game so if you like did you want to set up a 1755 start I won't be able to play a card today but then I'll send you an email with that slight setup change.

55 9/1/2017 5:50:00 AM 1757 Early Season France End Turn
54 9/1/2017 5:11:00 AM 1757 Early Season Britain Message So anyway this game is looking like one of those one in 10 games which is very very tough for the French.
how about we just take a look at our new cards and unless you get a killer hand we may as well just end this game and start a game beginning in 1755.

In fact I've been thinking about designing a 3 year competition game beginning in 55 and ending 57.

I'll send some details a bit later basically the main thing is the British force of two regulars won't begin in Alexandria but will begin in allegheny South and then it's basically Frozen there until the Brits roll a die equal to or less than the turn or the french attack that space also the Brits will get one VP if they build and maintain a stockade line. And the French get a VP if they build a fort in TICON on the river and the Brits if they build a fort in HCN.

Something like that.

42 8/31/2017 11:24:00 PM 1757 Early Season Britain Message Ok it seems that you've had a lot of good POG games.
Probably it does seem that that game gives a very rare strategic feel full stop I'll

Definitely get around to playing for the people at some point.

I do recommend blue vs grey. You just use acts you don't need any Maps or anything and you slowly build your forces up it sounds completely abstract but in actual fact it's quite interesting and is like a history lesson.

So if you did want to give Mr Madison's war one more try. It might be worth it I can see their are slight complexities battles could be long drawn out. But it does seem interesting and there is a competition coming up so all the good players about .

although I can really only do Wilderness war at the moment because as you probably have worked out I'm just using my mobile phone so I have to scroll around the map. Later in the year I can pretty much give any other game a try so around about November.

18 8/31/2017 2:24:00 AM 1757 Early Season France Message I love to play sometimes to PoG and Wash.War. I got fantastic games with PoG usually with no expert players. Wash. War is a quick game I play a lot but there is too much abstraction.
EotS is little bit too complicated for me and I say for many years I have to give time to learn ell the game.
I love FtP (more than 100 games) but some players say it's a complicated game...

13 8/30/2017 6:07:00 PM 1757 Early Season Britain Message Ok so Mr Madison's war is clunky. What about the naval rules yes they they look a little bit hard to follow.

I don't want to prejudge it too much I will give it a try it. However as a rule or as a principal I don't like multiple decks little bit over controlled that's what I really like about Wilderness war. It just flows better that's the main reason I never got into POG full stop although pog has some other issues which which we can't go into - but it has a loyal following. Well one example being able to send Bulgarian troops into turkey and stack with Turks is just lunacy.

Empire of the Sun is loopy. Mainly because the combat results table is split into two so they combine the surface and the air attacks. This is crazy. Plus the easiest of which the Japanese can invade India that's lunacy too.

Washington's war is interesting but combat is so babyish I've just not interested and the designer seems to be allergic to the combat results table.

Hannibal Rome vs carthage is excellent but it has a horrible flaw and that is Hannibal is so overrated it's literally like Rommel does Ancients.

Never tried for the people but that seems quite a good one.

Here I stand is excellent but of course multiplayer so please very very slowly on the net.
There is a game called blue vs grey which is a pure card game which is really really enjoyable I really recommend
