719 7/19/2019 9:42:00 AM Summer 1864 Union Message If you are willing to save some .png files for me then that will work out well. I for the Corps, I usually move the generals to the side so that you can see the number of SPs in each Corps. You can save the log files like that if you wish as well to save a little time.

Based on your last message I will wait for you to play a campaign card or pass the initiative to me!

718 7/19/2019 9:30:00 AM Summer 1864 Union Draw Strategy cards 7 cards drawn.

717 7/17/2019 6:40:00 PM Summer 1864 Confederate Message I can definitely do that, would like to continue as much as you are able of course. we are in the homestretch and this is a first for me being this deep where both sides are well over 40 SW.

I think I'm going to claim initiative and play a campaign. i hate giving you last go round this season but I need to get men down south before you ravage half of GA and AL.
716 7/16/2019 8:48:00 PM Summer 1864 Union Message I have my cell phone with me. So if you were willing to save the log files as .png files (using the camera icon in the Vassal menu) land load them into the Dropbox folder, and physically enter my moves into from ACTS into Vassal, we could probably continue to play our game. I would still not be able to make moves at the same rate that I can at home, but I could most likely make a few over the next two weeks using ACTS.

Your choice, if you prefer to simply take a break or will be busy yourself, then no problem, we can resume upon after I get back!
715 7/16/2019 8:46:00 PM Summer 1864 Union Message I am happy to hear that Mr. Davis is worried about The Abe Lincoln Southern Summer Tour ‘64. However, it looks like Jackson may have may some stuff lined up himself!

Union Generals:
I’ll put Sheridan into Columbus.
714 7/15/2019 2:22:00 PM Summer 1864 Confederate Message to you to place your general. Then I have to decide on initiative.

I'm going to go ahead and drop Hardee into Sabine City TX.
711 7/15/2019 12:21:00 PM Summer 1864 Confederate Message ugh, so many men in the Eastern theater. I'm going ot have to get creative with Longstreet to help divert some resources perhaps. But then I have the issue of all those dumb river crossings that can fall so easily now that you have your troops beefed up.
710 7/15/2019 12:17:00 PM Summer 1864 Confederate Message ugh, with that boat load of reinforcements, you are making me wish that I had rolled the dice and attacked you in Columbus GA one last time. Last thing Jeff Davis wants is an army of blue coats roaming the southern underbelly free of supply line constraints.
709 7/15/2019 7:04:00 AM Summer 1864 Union Message Thanks for taking care of all the EOT stuff. All looks good to me.

703 7/15/2019 12:32:00 AM Spring 1864 Confederate Message attrition: US - AOP -2, n9. AOT -1, n4. AOC -1, n3. Greenvile MO -1, n3. Jonesborough IL -1, n5. -1 in Shreveport LA, n2. he has to forage as well since he's OOS but at 2 SPs it doesn't matter.

for CSA, it's only the armies and Hood in Opelika: -1 each to AOM and AOT; n5 and n4 respectively. -1 in Opelika, n3.
702 7/15/2019 12:25:00 AM Spring 1864 Confederate Message Union gets: Charleston WV and Pitt PA. CSA gets nothing (being on defensive so much sucks). WV flips (but my PCs don't auto convert like they do if it was being controlled for first time). +5/-5 for our SWs. US n70+, CSA n92-.
701 7/15/2019 12:17:00 AM Spring 1864 Confederate Message actually let's just play it a little safe. drop 2 SPs there in Wytheville, n8. 5th MP back to Lynchburg. drop Jackson and Morgan/2 SPs, n6. 6th MP to Charlottesville. done.
700 7/14/2019 11:28:00 PM Spring 1864 Confederate Message I forgot I wanted to drop Jackson and cavalry and some troops into Lynchburg. Is that ok, I’ll keep the attack move of course.

695 7/14/2019 7:19:00 PM Spring 1864 Confederate Message and he can succeed do you want to move into Lynchburg and do battle? you will have +2 DRM for Sherman (no cav intel penalty) and Schofield and +2 for INT.

693 7/14/2019 7:16:00 PM Spring 1864 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #39: 2 / Draft Riots in New York
The Union must remove three SPs (Union chooses). If possible the SPs must come from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, or Washington DC.

Message from Confederate:
A of Miss moves 3 MPs to Lynchburg. AOC can attempt interception and I will roll since this is the only time you will have an adjacent space to intercept.
692 7/14/2019 7:07:00 PM Spring 1864 Confederate Message no worries my friend. I'll be getting my move done now. smart move burning Columbus so I don't have a chance to possibly retake it.
691 7/14/2019 11:08:00 AM Spring 1864 Union Message Jonathan, I want to let you know that my family and I are departing for vacation tomorrow afternoon. As of now, I am not planning on bringing my laptop. Therefore, I will be able to make a move tomorrow morning but then will be offline for about 11 days. I will be back home Saturday, July 27 and can resume our game then.

Still back to you for CSA card 7...

690 7/14/2019 10:58:00 AM Spring 1864 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #1: 1 / Empty Haversacks
Can be played as an Interrupt card to cancel the activation of any Confederate force, OR during a Union player's turn to cause a Confederate force to immediately execute an attrition procedure. In addition, conduct Forage if force has no LOC.

Message from Union:

Back to you for final card…
689 7/14/2019 10:50:00 AM Spring 1864 Union Message OK, we’ll assume that it was an audacious move of strategic genius and play on…
688 7/13/2019 11:03:00 PM Spring 1864 Confederate Message That’s OK, Fortune favors the bold so you get the spoils

BTY!
687 7/13/2019 8:38:00 PM Spring 1864 Union Message Oh Boy. Truth be told, that attack on Columbus was not audacious, it was foolish. I totally forgot that the “1*” on the CRT does not result in an attacker win if the defender is in a resource space. Had you given me the option to take the attack back before you rolled it, I definitely would have done something else.

To be fair, if you want me to play another move (which I would have done if given me the opportunity), I’d be willing to redo the move. Obviously, I am very happy about the way the move worked out (as well as the defense against Hood's attack), but I have to play with a clear conscience! Do you want me to play a different move with McPherson or do you want to play on as is?
686 7/13/2019 7:38:00 PM Spring 1864 Confederate Message well that was a crap show. 1-1 result. Hood's 4 SPs back to Opelika. McP stays in control with 2 SP now. BTY.

682 7/13/2019 7:28:00 PM Spring 1864 Confederate Message McPherson with his 3 SPs wins a glorious 1*-0 victory. only way you could win in a resource space was for me to get a 1 :( your audacity is rewarded. surviving CSA SP goes to Opelika in retreat.

631 5/18/2019 6:55:00 AM Fall 1863 Union Message This is a friendly game. So if you want to do a “take back” and conduct the raid, then that would be ok by me. By raid, I assume that you mean to take 3 provinces in a Union State for the -5 SW? I’ll do the end of turn stuff in any case, but please feel free to redo if you want and I can do the end of turn stuff again. Your choice.
630 5/17/2019 2:07:00 AM Fall 1863 Confederate Message well in this case dropping that 1 in Grafton leaves me with 2 with Jackson. 2 more spaces to Pitt and drop 1 leaving 1 with Jackson and 2 MP left. 5th-8th MP travel back to Lewisburg to rejoin Morgan and form 2 SP corp at move end. 1 AM here if you want to try to do EOT stuff, it would be much appreicated.

i missed my chance fora raid now.

628 5/17/2019 2:02:00 AM Fall 1863 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #35: 1 / Elite Units
Place an Elite unit marker in any space with an Army. CSA: Stonewall Bde or Hood’s Tigers. USA: Iron Bde or Wilder’s Bde. Cannot be played if all elite unit markers are in play for that side.

Message from Confederate:
we just aren't meant to have MO it looks like. Jackson moves out leaving Morgan and his SP behind. attack Weston 1st: 5-1. auto 2-1 or better, n4 left. 2nd to Grafton, drop 1, n3.

627 5/17/2019 1:56:00 AM Fall 1863 Confederate Message a little sad that i pull the trigger on my campaign 2nd to lat card. i know you have used up one discard event but i know one more is lurking and i couldnt' afford to lose out.
