The first die roll is a contingency roll in case I misunderstood the possible conflict between 7.42 (Defender ALWAYS gets a minimum of one call) and 13.22 (OoS units may attack, but units that are OoS do not get artillery support.).

I THINK that means that even a defending OoS unit doesn't get the call, but it is talking about attacking in 13.22 and the 7.42 might override. So, just in case, the first die may or may not be relevant. The last three are yours.
