195 11/21/2017 6:16:00 PM Summer 1862 Confederate Message Yes you can play it as an Ops.
194 11/21/2017 5:55:00 PM Summer 1862 Union Message OK. Thanks for the info, Tim.

Are you ok if I play the "Seven Days/Chattanooga" card as a 3 op card instead of an event card?
193 11/21/2017 12:29:00 PM Summer 1862 Confederate Message Yes, it could have been used as an intercept at one space range into Strasburg.

The odds were even you that you would have made the intercept, but you can never hurt to be sure if it's critical.
192 11/21/2017 11:27:00 AM Summer 1862 Union Message OK, I see that in the instruction manual. Sorry about the bad play. While we are on the subject, could I have played that card as an automatic 1 space interception to use against the AoT as it entered Strasburg during your last card play?

Last night, I searched around on the forums to see and did not find any info. A 2 space interception into Culpeper would not work because Strasburg was CSA controlled. I assumed that I could not use the card for a 1 space automatic interception because, there are other cards that explicitly state 1 or 2 space automatic interception and this one did not explicitly allow for a 1 space interception. Do you agree with that interpretation?

PS - I have no intent to ask to replay your last strategy round regardless of the answer, I'm just looking to learn for the future.
191 11/21/2017 10:42:00 AM Summer 1862 Confederate Message The Concentration space has to be in an original CSA space, so you can't concentrate in DC.

Yes that was risky spot to concentrate so many SPs, but with the high CSA casualties in taking, the exchange was pretty costly for the CSA.
190 11/21/2017 10:17:00 AM Summer 1862 Union Play Strategy card as Event #103: 3 / Seven Days/Chattanooga
Either player may move 2 SPs using Strategic Movement from the same space using rail connections only (10 space maximum) to the same space with a General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more enemy SPs or fort. OR play this card as an automatic 2 space interception. Intervening space must be friendly controlled and free of enemy SPs. The intervening space may be the one just exited by the moving enemy force. No Generals or SPs may be picked up or dropped off during the intercept.

Message from Union:
Use Strategic Movement to Move 1 sp from Philadelphia to DC

98 11/10/2017 1:35:00 PM Spring 1862 Confederate Message The correct sequence is to alternate. Some tournament players do it to speed things up in the early turns it doesn't give up much of an advantage to the other pkayer.

As the game progresses to the later turns, it becomes more crucial so people start alternating again.

97 11/10/2017 1:01:00 PM Spring 1862 Union Message Hey Tim, do tournament players usually do Reinforcements, Strategic Movement and Generals all in one shot or do they alternate between US and CSA in between steps?

i.e.:
US Reinforceemtns
CSA Reinforceemnts
US Stat Moves
CSA Strat Moves ... etc.
