95 11/18/2017 1:54:00 PM Fall 1861 Union Message Great, 12.8 seems crystal clear, I need Fort P-J (which totally makes flavor sense anyway). My SW is 119+ and it's your turn.
94 11/18/2017 9:34:00 AM Fall 1861 Confederate Message Hi, very close, but you still need to get Fort P-J...look at Rule 12.8, under "LA", and it is listed there as a necessary space to have. The idea is, I believe, that a US Navy ship could sail unimpeded from Wash DC to the Gulf of Mexico and into the mouth of the Mississippi River and then sail unimpeded the entire stretch of the river and its tributaries. The fact that Fort P-J blocks the entrance to the river means that the USA cannot do this. Agree?
93 11/17/2017 6:04:00 PM Fall 1861 Union Message Oh, I think I gained control of the entire Mississippi when I took Columbus, right? So I should have gained +10 sw to 129+
92 11/17/2017 5:45:00 PM Fall 1861 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #126: 1 / Valley Devastation

75 11/16/2017 3:09:00 PM Fall 1861 Union Message Thanks! I was very happy to see all those 3's this turn. (I did mess up the very end - if I had also absorbed Buell into the army I would have won the battle over the fort in Columbus. I was thinking only 2 generals would count, but that's only army v army (due to my lack of cav intelligence).)
And thanks for letting me know when to anticipate your move. Talk to you tomorrow. :-)
74 11/16/2017 3:05:00 PM Fall 1861 Confederate Message That was kind of a wrecking ball, going through Kentucky and Tennessee...good move! I had to gamble that you could not move that Army after you formed it, but you had the cards...let me look over my troops and file my SR...won't be until tomorrow...I am away from the game until then. Thx!

Move 1sp from St Louis (n1) into AotC (n14)

Roll the die, if the result is greater than the Union Amphibious Assault modifier, reduce the Union Amphibious Assault modifier by one, other wise no effect. Remove from deck if event is played.

4 10/26/2017 8:50:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Message Hey, Randy! Glad to meet you on the battlefield...I am out of town and away from my game/maps, etc, but will be back on Sunday 10/29 night. Jame started us off early and I was not expecting it, so I have to ask to wait until I get home to file a move...I will go get cards and let you know if I will go first or not, though, so you will know whether to go first.
Good luck to you!
Paul

1 10/23/2017 10:02:00 PM Spring 1861 Moderator Message You may proceed. We want to let you guys start a bit early since originally the tourney was scheduled to start 10/15. But BPA newsletter was not released in Sept, so pushed back the start time.

We will continue to allow people to sign up til 11/15. But in the meantime, many people who has been waiting can be paired up and start.
