80 10/31/2017 11:58:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Message It's more the following:

1) don't want to trade SPs 1 for 1 with you
2) need to take back some land, otherwise I'm hampered next turn
3) want to minimize attrition.
4) want to see if I can be cheap and get a 1/0 victory over you in one spot, while ending the turn where I want to.

Juggling these 4 ideas to make a plan with 4 spaces of movement left is more than my sleep deprived brain can handle right now.
