21 11/16/2017 10:00:00 PM Spring 1861 Confederate Message Mike,
I took another look at this, and I think I was correct the first time. When 2 Union SP's unaided by a card or any Amphibious assault modifier attack an unoccupied Coastal fort the Union always takes the fort, and they always lose 1 SP. The net Amphibious assault modifier is +2 DRM for CSA, and Union gets a +4 DRM for Force Ratio. There is no chance of a "0" result for either side. Do you agree with this?
20 11/16/2017 9:43:00 PM Spring 1861 Confederate Message 1/1
Fort falls, occupied with 1 Union SP

17 11/16/2017 10:45:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Message Hi Mike,
I think we are starting to fall behind in this one. We need to speed up or Iím not sure we will be able to finish in time. I know life can get in the way of games, but please try to play a card every couple of days (or in this case, roll some dice) so we can make some progress. If nothing else, itís a nice distraction from a very disturbing world!
16 11/13/2017 10:59:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Event #83: 3 / Major Campaign
Conduct up to three moves or conduct one special army-size naval move. No SP, general, or army marker may be moved twice with the same campaign card. You must move a different force each move.

Message from Confederate:
Glad your back Mike! Good luck with the auto.
This card would have been a lot more useful on Turn 2..

Either player may move up to two infantry SPs from the same space as if led by a General. This move is a Corps move and may enter enemy controlled spaces because the SPs are moving as if they are led by a general.

The October fires closed to within 4 miles of my mother's house. In the Bay Area, the smoke was particularly bad for several days. It seemed more like sunset in the middle of the day. We're expecting some showers this weekend.

I am usually good for a move every day, but am good with a slower pace as well. I guess we are playing with everything except Railroad Logistics. Is that your understanding as well?

Great to meet you! I think we have something in common besides FTP...we both survived the worst fire season on the west coast as long as I can remember. August was a nightmare up here, but it sounds like you folks caught up in September. Hope you're getting some rain!
