307 4/25/2018 7:48:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Message Oh, BTW, I will be outta pocket for next several days - going to Little Wars in chicago. Back in the game on Monday, 4/30
306 4/25/2018 7:43:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Message Bill, I believe that the naval influence from Shreveport is valid...so, let's re-do...this is what I see...you validate what I am about to say...

Your card play #80 =>
place 3SPs in Baton rouge

My card play #37 =>
the same (take Sabine)

Your card play #54 =>
add Ironclad at Baton Rouge

My card play #64 =>
Convert Sabine, the same

You may put back in your hand cards #75 & #77 or play the concentration card and attack Little Rock or something else?

I put card #97 back in my hand and await your play of #75 or #77.

Whatcha think?
305 4/24/2018 1:04:00 AM Spring 1863 Union Message Haven't heard back from Mark yet...

You have access to ConsimWorld? Perhaps you could post a note there in the FTP thread.

Otherwise, how do you wish to proceed?
304 4/22/2018 12:50:00 AM Spring 1863 Union Message No response from Mark yet...
303 4/18/2018 3:59:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Message Bill, I cannot find an email addy for Mark so we can get some clarification. You have one?
302 4/18/2018 2:25:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Message Reviewed the 6.0 River section again...
In section 6.62, para 3 Example A => has the only reference for our situation...However, this example does not include the situation for Shreveport being in Yank supply from Texas.
Believe the "pressure idea from the North down the river" supports Union Naval control and supply to Little Rock.

You want me to send Mark a note for clarification?
301 4/18/2018 10:02:00 AM Spring 1863 Confederate Message I am not clear about supply across the Mississippi. If you are in supply in Little Rock via the River, then I couldn't have attacked Little Rock across the River...Right? If the Rebs are in supply west the Ark. River, then yes, I want to complete the move and claim Missouri for my very own. If not, I'd like to reconsider my move...
300 4/18/2018 12:24:00 AM Spring 1863 Union Message Bill, on my map, I have nuttin in Missouri...does that change your move?

As I see it, you are not in supply...thus far. Little Rock is occupied, Yank PCs in Memphis & in Humboldt block supply.
If things remain the same after my turn, then Memphis & Madison will be back to Rebeldom so Supply may be gleaned from that source, even with Little Rock destroyed.

Anyways, change your move?
299 4/17/2018 8:45:00 PM Spring 1863 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #77: 2 / Stop the War
Union SW reduced by five points. Remove from deck if event is played.

Message from Confederate:
Price moves to Gainsville, p/u Beau and 4SPs. [n5] then on to Greensville, drop 1SP, then to Ironton, drop 1SP, and then to STL, drop 1SP and attack with 2SPs. The question of whether I am in supply is not clear--to me anyway.
298 4/17/2018 8:24:00 PM Spring 1863 Confederate Message Well, I missed that line of supply. Good one.
297 4/17/2018 6:03:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Message Well, true, but I have supply along the Red River, Missip, Arkansas Rivers...

Had other plans, but you have successfully been making me adjust to your moves...that's why I had to convert Sabine to insure I had supply from Shreveport.
296 4/17/2018 5:29:00 PM Spring 1863 Confederate Message Is there supply to Little Rock? Reading 8.1 suggests that the space [Camden] has to be 'friendly' rather than simply occupied. Is that Right? If so, then there is +2OOS applied to Price's attack because Little Rock can't be supplied by the river. [IF again, I am reading the rules correctly]
295 4/17/2018 2:20:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #97: 1 / Davis Tours the South
Increase Confederate SW by 3.

Message from Union:
Grant moves by himself to Wilderness (p/u Stoneman - AoPot n6 & Grant n1), then back to Manassas (drops Stoneman - Grant n0 & Manassas n7), then to WDC (p/u 2 - Grant n2 & WDC n0), then to Frederick (p/u 2 - Grant n4 & Frederick n0), then ends back at Manassas - (manassas n11).
294 4/17/2018 2:09:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Message Price is unsuccessful in his attack of his old home...
Yanks prevail and remain in Little Rock.
Price looses 1SP and retires to Elizabeth after loosing 1SP. Price n1 in Elizabeth

292 4/17/2018 12:31:00 AM Spring 1863 Confederate Message Yep, Marshall. Forget to take the SP off of Dover. Keep Decatur there. Have Price attack with two SPs.
291 4/16/2018 9:52:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Message Forgot to take credit for burning Marschall:
-1 for the Rebs from 89- to 88-
+1 for the Yanks from 89+ to 90+
290 4/16/2018 9:35:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Message Bill, I only had 2SPs in Dover to begin with...you have 1SP in Decatur? Tell me what you want to send to Dover for Price's return to Arkansas...

Nice card play btw...
289 4/16/2018 4:57:00 PM Spring 1863 Confederate Message Oops. One change. Instead of Weldon, 1SP from Dover [n2] moves with Price.
288 4/16/2018 4:55:00 PM Spring 1863 Confederate Play Strategy card as Event #75: 2 / Western Concentration Block
Confederate player can either remove or demote an army commander in any state except Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Florida for no political cost. OR Confederate Player may move 5 SPs using Strategic Movement (rail connections only) to the same space with a Confederate General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more Union SPs or fort. If a general casualty occurs in a battle caused by this card, the Commanding General is eligible, this is an exception to the rules. See 4.5 Remove from deck if event is played.

Message from Confederate:
SPS from Springfield, Columbus, Baldwin, Weldon and Charleston meet in Dover. Price moves with 5SPs:

Mckenzie, Humbolt, Memphis,[drop 1SP], Madison [drop 1 SP, Elizabeth, attacks Little Rock with 3SPs.

Confederate immediately receives three SPs in any friendly controlled space with a LOC, free of Union SPs or forts. No more than one SP per confederate controlled state. No SPs may be placed in Pro-Union spaces.

Message from Union:
LOL, Bill, you are really good at this game! That last move was totally out of my radar...nicely done...I only hope you don't have what I think you might have in your hand!

AoMoLand (n8) converts Marschall (1MP), then moves to Nacha & converts (3MPs), then attacks Sabine City (last 2MPs)...
281 4/14/2018 7:30:00 PM Spring 1863 Confederate Play Strategy card as Event #80: 1 / Southern Religious Revival
Confederate player immediately receives three SPs in a single space, and loses three SW points. SPs must be placed in a friendly controlled space (including Pro-Union spaces) with a LOC free of Union SPs.

Message from Confederate:

280 4/14/2018 5:29:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Play Strategy card as Event #14: 3 / Red River Campaign
May not be discarded by the Union. Union must use this card as an OC. If at the conclusion of movement, a Union SP is not on or adjacent to Grand Ecore, LA, then the Union loses 5 SW points. If a Union SP is in one of the objective spaces then a Union PC marker can immediately be placed to convert the space or spaces. Remove from deck if Union plays card.

Message from Union:
2SPs from Vicksburg (n5) move to Shreveport & converts per card play.
279 4/14/2018 2:27:00 PM Spring 1863 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #26: 3 / Cotton is King
If played by Union, reduce Confederate SW by 2; if played by Confederate, Confederate immediately receives two SPs in any Blockade Runner port, no more than one SP per port, but more than 1SP per Blockade zone is permitted. If insufficient ports are available, the excess SPs are lost. Remove from deck if event is played.

278 4/12/2018 4:34:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Message This is pretty intense...great game!

Over to you for that next card play!
277 4/11/2018 9:29:00 PM Spring 1863 Confederate Message Noted. I missed the -5 war weariness and yep, medium battle at NO.
276 4/11/2018 2:04:00 AM Spring 1863 Union Message Wish the Yank SW was better, but I have it at 85-...so with Fort NO destroyed that would make Yank SW at 89+...right?

2nd part of campaign:
AoMoLand (n11) leaves 1SP in Little Rock, then moves to Camden (drops 1), then to Shreveport (drops 1), then enters Marschall with n8.
275 4/11/2018 1:48:00 AM Spring 1863 Union Message Love the bone rolls! :-)

This was a medium battle (my 3SPs w/o a Gen, but with the mighty riverine navy vs your 3SPs in the fort), so you loose 2SPs...so only 1SP retiring to Spfld, LA.

Yanks still loose only 1SP, so n2 in NO with the fort destroyed.
274 4/10/2018 8:29:00 PM Spring 1863 Confederate Message 1/1*

266 4/5/2018 12:44:00 AM Spring 1863 Union Message Due to the new logistics rules, it will take 3MPs to convert Elizabeth...so will use the last 2MPs to enter Little Rock and enter that space with no conversion to Yankeedom.

If I understand things correctly, since no Rail road, it takes 2MPs to enter Little Rock. Is that what you believe as well?

218 3/16/2018 6:16:00 PM Fall 1862 Confederate Play Strategy card as Event #3: 1 / Forward to Richmond
Union may activate any Union army within 4 spaces of Richmond, VA. The army must enter Richmond or move as close to Richmond as possible, but may convert spaces to maintain an LOC. All SPs associated with the army must be moved (no dropping off SPs), except 1 SP may be left if the Army began its movement from a fort (if last SP, move completed). If played by the Confederate, he draws a card from the Union hand which is discarded, and the Union player follows the instructions of this card as his next card play.
