23 11/5/2017 7:06:00 PM Spring 1861 Confederate Message Yep, -94 for the fort. I was sure you'd take Sabine City. I take it the 1+2 OP cards can't be used that way?

19 11/3/2017 7:32:00 PM Spring 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #115: 2 / Galveston
The Confederate player may move 1 SP from a blockade runner port (open or closed) to its associated ungarrisoned Union controlled coastal fort (no Union SP present) and immediately place a Confederate PC marker (does not require a LOC) in the Coastal fort space. Remove from deck if event is played.

Message from Confederate:
Place PCs on Louisville and Lebanon.

I am going to be in Seattle starting tomorrow through the 14th BUT I have finally gotten FTP on my laptop, so I will be able to play from there. Major accomplishment...believe you me.
18 11/1/2017 2:20:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #109: 2 / Fortified Lines
The Confederate player may place up to two forts in any friendly controlled space with an LOC free of Union SPs and forts.

Message from Union:
Completing the Ops que with 2 => making 3 Ops.
AoPot moves with 3SPs to Frederick (p/u 3SPs - n6), then to Manassas (converts), then to Strasburg (drops 2SPs - n4 & converts), then back to Manassas.

The new logistics rules kept me from going into the Valley to drop SPs along the say to get them converted at the end of the turn. These rules really change the game for the Yanks as well. More realistic, I think for the movement in areas without rail links allowed too rapid movement in consideration of what was done in the war.

OK, enuf blather...how about that last Reb card?

OBTW, I don't think I can provide much more insights to this game...you have got it down in Spades, bud. YOU are GOOD!
17 11/1/2017 12:17:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Event #36: 1 / Elite Units
Place an Elite unit marker in any space with an Army. CSA: Stonewall Bde or Hoodís Tigers. USA: Iron Bde or Wilderís Bde. Cannot be played if all elite unit markers are in play for that side.

Message from Confederate:
I can see this is going to be a learning [and short] game for me...

Stonewall Brigade to ANV.
16 10/29/2017 2:05:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #43: 1 / Kansas Admitted to Union
Union immediately gains one SP in any friendly or neutral space in Missouri free of Confederate SPs. Remove from deck if event is played.

Message from Union:
Ops que started for the AoPot or McDowell
15 10/28/2017 6:47:00 PM Spring 1861 Confederate Message That rule will create more problems for the CSA internal movement...
14 10/28/2017 6:45:00 PM Spring 1861 Confederate Message instead I'll create the ANV, Johnston commanding, beau second in command n5 In Richmond...

-2SW -3 COD for 95-SW
13 10/28/2017 6:41:00 PM Spring 1861 Confederate Message and here I thought I had the most up to date info, but thought the rule was only for Strategic Movement.

I have the optional rule now, sooo...
No, don't want to do that move.

12 10/28/2017 5:14:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Message OK, first introduction to the new Logistic rules...

Since there is no RR in Ark, it takes an extra MP to travel along roads...so to Clarksville from Fayetteville, cost 2MPs, then to LR (2MPs), then to Camden (2MPs), then to Shreveport (2MPs) => end there.

Is that what you want to do?
11 10/28/2017 12:14:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #76: 2 / Great Sioux Uprising
Remove one Union commanding general at no SW penalty. Penalties for promoting a general with a lower political value still apply. OR remove ANY Union non-commanding general (even second in commands) from the game. Remove from deck if event is played.

7 10/24/2017 12:05:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #63: 2 / Beaufort/Port Royal Captured
The Union Blockade Level is increased by one.

Message from Confederate:
It's amazing what Clara B. was able to do saving all those Union boys BEFORE the war began.... Must be her sanitary practices around WDC.

Well, discretion is the better part of survival.

Johnston moves to Manssas with his 1SP, picks up Beau and his 3SPs and moves back to Richmond. N5
6 10/23/2017 6:25:00 AM Spring 1861 Union Play Strategy card as Event #9: 3 / Clara Barton
Union immediately adds three SPs due to improved sanitary conditions. Place in any space (friendly controlled or not) that already contains a Union SP and has a LOC, no more than one per space.

Message from Union:
3SPs added to Frederick - n4. Pretty good start!

Remember, we are playing with those pesky new Logistics Rules...THEY REALLY change the game in my opinion!
