465 3/2/2018 7:38:00 AM Summer 1864 Union Message Thanks. Will certainly continue as your defense has given me no opportunity to land a KO blow, and learning some stuff for my end game for both sides. It is a very enjoyable game and still has lots of play left. Your gen placement and we can continue
464 3/2/2018 3:31:00 AM Summer 1864 Confederate Message I agree. Congrats Mike ! In particular, you mastered the defense of DC and surroundings. I never had the opportunity to do anything decisive. You also have a very consistent style, preferring sure moves to barely favorable odds. I didn't have the cards nor dice to challenge your skills, and I learned a lot.
a) I would appreciate to continue the game at slow pace, just to see what happens in the end : I still have to decipher the mystery of CSA long-term defense ;
b) stupid question : can Sheridan become an army leader ?
463 3/1/2018 10:08:00 PM Summer 1864 Moderator Message guys, time is up for this round...
looking over the journal, both players moved relatively quick, with CSA player just a bit slow a few times...
the main reason I'm adjudicating in favor of the USA is that his SW is very high at this stage, his position is good, and Union forces are rampaging deep in the south.

so, USA wins ... if you guys want to play it out, feel free to go for it.
