486 2/16/2018 11:59:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Message the horses are fine (at least for Pleasanton), that's why you have an SP on the turn track

This answers your other question; you temporarily lose the SP (so, down to 5 in Cairo). But it comes back a turn later, and for the Union, this means it arrives with the new cav leader. For the Confederacy, it arrives as an infantry SP (unless there's another cav leader waiting in the wings)

411 1/16/2018 3:48:00 AM Summer 1863 Union Message Fails.

I had a fairly crazy game. I think I succeeded on 5 Space Race in a row (after playing +1 Space Race as first event) while my opponent failed a few times in a row.

Seeing their headline card first every round is quite amazing.
