19 11/29/2017 11:06:00 PM 1755 Early Season France Play Strategy card as Event #23: 2 / Northern Indian
Play if you control Montreal. Place BLUE or--if you have a fort at Niagara-- BLUE/ORANGE Indian units totalling half a die roll (rounded up), or a full roll if French VP >4. Place units at their settlements. For every 1 you could place, you may instead restore 2 to full.

Message from France:
I'll play this for the Event.

17 11/29/2017 9:23:00 PM 1755 Early Season Britain Play Strategy card as Event #36: 2 / Fran‡ois Bigot
French player randomly discards one card. (Discarded "Surrender!" card causes Reshuffle.)

Message from Britain:
Hi Jefferson,

Corruption and treasury mismanagement plague the New France government. With inflation kicking in the citizens of Montreal and Quebec suspect Francois Bigot and his entourage are the culprits.
16 11/29/2017 9:11:00 PM 1755 Early Season Britain Discard random Strategy card Operations - 1 / Amphibious Landing

Message from Britain:
Discarding the Top Card :-)
15 11/27/2017 10:50:00 PM 1755 Early Season France Play Strategy card as Event #33: 2 / Indians Desert
Eliminate up to two unbesieged enemy Indian units from any one space. (Remove Allied markers)

Message from France:
The Mohawks decide to desert their British allies.
14 11/27/2017 10:26:00 PM 1755 Early Season France Message I think things aren't as messed up as I initially thought.

1. Both of our respective Regulars cards have apparently disappeared because they are supposed to -- note that the card text actually states "REMOVE," so they aren't supposed to go into the discard pile.

2. The new card that was added to my hand when you hit "End Turn" appeared at the top of my list, so I think it's a safe bet that the card in the equivalent position in your list is the new one and should be discarded as well.

That leaves us with only one lingering problem: that these two new cards are now (or soon will be) in the Discard pile, and there does not appear to be any way to transfer them back over into the Deck. However, that should eventually happen in the normal course when one of us plays the "Surrender!" card.

Or perhaps maybe one of the site's managers will be able to come to our aid with a solution.

In any event, let's play on. But don't forget to discard your top card!

13 11/25/2017 9:28:00 AM 1755 Early Season Britain Play Strategy card as Operations #31: 3 / Cherokee Uprising
Play if Cherokees event has occurred. REMOVE British player must eliminate (as available, unbesieged) two Regular, one Southern Provincial, and all Cherokee (GREEN) Indian units (flip marker), and may not play Cherokees event.

Message from Britain:
I activate Abercromby,

MP 1-4 He uses boat movement and floats up the Hudson River to arrive and dock in Albany where he reads and instructs this year's objectives to Shirley and Johnson who both are relieved to see the arrival of the professional European troops.
12 11/25/2017 9:22:00 AM 1755 Early Season Britain Message Hi Jeff,

I am sorry for this mess I created. This also raises another issue, I am not sure which card was added to my hand. From the best of my recollection, I believe it may be the top card in my hand, however I fear I may be mistaken. Perhaps in lieu of it, I will randonly discard card if you don't confirm the discard of the top card in the order of my hand. In the mean time, I will go ahead and continue with play with a card I know was in my hand.
11 11/24/2017 5:47:00 PM 1755 Early Season France Play Strategy card as Operations #7: 1 / Massacre!
Play when enemy stack of both Indian and Drilled Troops units captures a stockade space, fort, or fortress. Receive 1 VP. All Indians in the space eliminated.

Message from France:
I'll use this to activate Montcalm, who will move as follows.

MP 1-4: He uses boat movement to move with all his subordinate leaders and all his troops from Quebec up the St. Lawrence to Montreal. Here he drops off Vaudreuil and Bougainville.

MP 5-8: Montcalm then continues on with Levis, Dieskau, and his remaining troops to Ticonderoga by way of Ile aux Noix - Winooski - Crown Point. He drops Levis at Crown Point.

Upon his arrival on the headland at Ticonderoga, Montcalm has his army pitch its camp. He surveys the site and pronounces it good.

10 11/24/2017 5:39:00 PM 1755 Early Season France Message We now have two problems, however.

1. The first two cards we played -- French Regulars and British Regulars -- are not showing up in the Discard Pile, and they need to be there.

2. Once both of the cards that were inadvertently added to our hands are discarded, we need to be able to get them out of the Discard Pile and back into the deck of cards still waiting to be drawn for the first time.

I will try and communicate with the ACTS module designer to see if he can walk me through these mechanisms. I suspect there is a way to accomplish this.

In the meantime, I will proceed with my next move.

9 11/24/2017 5:35:00 PM 1755 Early Season France Message Remember that you will need to similarly discard the new card that was added to your hand.

8 11/24/2017 5:35:00 PM 1755 Early Season France Discard Strategy card Message from France:
This card was inadvertently added to my hand.
7 11/24/2017 5:30:00 PM 1755 Late Season France Change game turn Game turn changed to 1755 Early Season
6 11/24/2017 5:30:00 PM 1755 Late Season France Message Jeremy, you do not have to hit "End Turn" after every individual player impulse, but only after all impulses are done for a particular turn. I had to do it originally because the initial housekeeping mechanics occur in the "Start" turn, so it was necessary to "End Turn" there to bring us into Early 1755 and start the game in earnest.

As you will see, by clicking "End Turn" following your move, you moved us along to Late 1755, and each of us has had a replacement card added to his hand.

Thus, I will re-set the Game Turn. I will then discard to new card that was placed in my hand, and you will need to do likewise.

4 11/23/2017 10:20:00 PM 1755 Early Season Britain Play Strategy card as Event #58: 3 / British Regulars
May not be played if British Regulars already played this season. REMOVE Place three 3-4 Regular units and a leader, if available, at any ports.

Message from Britain:
Happy Thanksgiving Jefferson! I enjoy the flavor you have added to your playing.
Here is my card:

The British War Cabinet has new plans for the North American struggle with the French. It has decided to strengthen the British colonial presence and has sent three fresh regular regiments (40th Hopson's, 35th Otway's and 45th Warburton's) to New York City under the command of recently promoted General Abercromby.
3 11/23/2017 12:06:00 PM 1755 Early Season France Play Strategy card as Event #55: 3 / French Regulars
May not be played if French Regulars already played this season or after Quiberon. REMOVE Place two 3-4 Regular units, and, if not yet in play, Montcalm, Levis, & Bougainville at either Quebec or Louisbourg.

Message from France:
Jeremy, my apologies for the delay. It's been a very busy few days since I got back to town.

I'll open by playing this card for the Event.

As warm spring weather finally begins to make itself felt in the valley of the St. Lawrence, the residents of Quebec are delighted to behold a flotilla of six ships beating up the river against the current, carrying two regiments of French Regulars (Royal Roussillon and La Sarre), a general, and two ranking subordinate officers of great ability.
2 11/20/2017 11:44:00 PM 1755 Early Season France Message Jeremy, I was wrapping up another game (of "Mr. Madison's War") tonight, but hopefully will be able to get my first move out in our game tomorrow night.
