Several possibilities exists. You can enter stockade with unharmed trapper (combatvalue 1) or damaged drilled unit (combat value 2, -1 DRM in wilderness)

As you have two trappers, you won't lose your aux in the main force. Also a hit on a damaged unit will kill it and the -1 DRM is considered. So I'll presume that you intercept with one of the trappers

Interception of militia
50 1/4/2018 3:53:00 AM 1757 Late Season Britain Message 1: Yes, one of your units from Crown Point may try to intercept, needing 4+

2: I have -1 DRM from no aux, but we fight near a fort, not near a stockade so there is no extra modifier

And bonus info that has nothing to do with the current battle or no battle. This is late season and at the end of season all our forces has to be in forts/stockades/cultivated or undergo attrition. A fort/stockade can accommodate 4 units, cultivated can accommodate all.
This is important to both our forces at Ticonderoga, my force at Alegheny Mountains and your Levis-force at the brink of Lake Ontario. Also all Indians not at stockade with a friendly leader go home, which will influence your two damaged Indians at Mohawk Brink and my two Cherokees

Last: You didn't get a VP for burning my stockade anyway. It is not awared when done in a raid. Forgot that
49 1/3/2018 8:19:00 PM 1757 Late Season France Message First, can one of my units (say marine unit) try to intercept?

Fr Top, British Bottom
35 12/29/2017 5:39:00 PM 1757 Early Season Britain Message I got an answer. See thread
https://boardgamegeek.com/article/27823939#27823939

Retreating into a cultivated area is not a move, so you are able to move two areas with the unit you want to avoid battle.

Over to you for rolling dices and take your turn afterwards
34 12/29/2017 3:43:00 PM 1757 Early Season Britain Message I just made a question on bgg on our situation and afterwards I looked through the threads on bgg. It turns out that since you donít have a leader present, your three units are not cnsidered a force.

See thread https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1795168/auxiliary-force-avoid-battle-wilderness

This means that you can retreat with ONE of the three units, but that you have to do battle with the two remaining. Or you can do battle with all three. This also makes our situation easier, as if you chose to retreat with one unit you only have this unit to raid with and you are already in an area that can be raided

I am attacker and I play no combat cards no matter how many of your units I fight in the mountains. So you can chose how many you wish to defend with, two or three. And if your aux loses they canít retreat into a cultivated area just like drilled units canít retreat into wilderness without being destroyed.
33 12/29/2017 2:59:00 PM 1757 Early Season Britain Message Actually that is a good question. In all my former games we have assumed, that the rule is understood such that Indians are opposed by the local population, making it impossble to move further inland than two areas. Just like drilled troops are hopelessly lost in the wilderness if they move more than two areas. This being the case you (your Indians) are already undergping attritin/pressure now in the first area, even if they was pushed involunterely into it. We had a similar situation in my first game and agreed on the retreat area counting as first move into cultivated

On the other hand the rules say move. What does bgg say?
32 12/29/2017 8:53:00 AM 1757 Early Season France Message Quick question:

I'm under impression that I can still move two cultivated spaces. Isn't it that during each movement, they can move max 2 cultivated spaces without drill troops (not 2 cultivated spaces total for game). if that is case, since I am starting my movement phase, I hsould be allowed 2 spaces to mvoe, and then theoretically next turn if I wanted to I could move them another 2 spaces correct?

14 12/24/2017 4:08:00 AM 1757 Early Season Britain Message Cultivated areas are less defended and more loot, hence prime targets. Only reason to take on a stockade is the +1 vp.
