...in this particular case...the event and the ops are the same based on your initial play...so the card will take precedent as it's free...

actually, since the event benefits DR...they must play the event...so a base and one guerilla would either be placed in Sierra Maestra or Las Villas...roll a random dice roll to determine which one...
regarding your cylinder in the pass section...that was last round(during Ambassador Smith card)...so there are three eligible cylinder this round...
26th next...unless you pass again
Syndicate if 26th passes...
Also, remember never to touch the markers on the outside of the edge track...do changes in the rectangle colored boxes...your is in the lower right corner...I will adjust on the propaganda round...
Lastly...on your round...your limited to 1 limited ops due to the propaganda card being revealed...

DR must use Terror if possible but there is no Active Support or Opposition in a space where they have an underground cell. So, they Rally instead. I'm going to have you do the Rally as there seems to be more than one place they could and the wording is confusing.

I read the card to say that in each city not only is support reduces but a rebel is placed. Hope that is correct. As Santiago de Cuba is already neutral I assume no rebel goes there?

BTW...that last DR play...terror and reduced support to passive was devastating to the government...
my total support went down to 10...I need 18 before the propaganda phase...otherwise my US Alliance deteriorates to 3 resources to play most ops...
...Also to remove the terror marker and increase the passive support to active support in Havana would cost me 8 resources...it looks like the US alliance and Batista is going to take a hit...:(

Hi Jim...I had a momentum card in the right hand blue area...it gone, but still playable till the propaganda phase...it permitted me to elim two active units instead of one during air strikes...
OP will be sweep in Santiago de Cuba...both 26th guerillas are active...cost me two resources...
Then special activity will be "Air Strike"...my momentum card permits me to elim 2 active guerillas...so will elim both Santiago de Cuba...

this is what I get when I go into too much detail...another correction...
When I was discussing the Syndicate and the upcoming DR pulse...I only click on End Faction Play to clear movement trails and pawns...the other two only happen when two pulses for a card have been preformed...

As far as the buttons at the top are concern...when I finished with the Syndicate and the DR had their turn...I just clicked on End Faction Play and End Card Play...
Reason...I just wanted to clear movement trails/pawns and then update the cylinders in the sequence of play.
Now that both factions have had their pulses...we will click on all three to include the two above and DRAW CARD...to get our cards placed...
probably clear as mud...but if you hold your cursor over the menu buttons...a popup will show you what they do...
BTW...the Reset Phase menu button is only used at the end of the Propaganda phase...

Looks like Terror conditions are not met for DR. So It's an OP with Special. Rally 1 to Camaquey and then Subvert to Remove Passive opposition. To be honest I need some help with this - this turn anyway. I am still confused about what buttons to hit in module to end turn as this is the last play. Please do this turn and again explain what you did at turn's end.

Syndicate gets op and special activity...
Rally is mandatory as it's first in the order to do things and it is applicable to the syndicate...I place 1 guerilla in each province and city that has a casino...
I place cursor on the "1" of Pinar del Rio...right click and select "dispatch syndicate guerilla...I'll do the same in La Habana and Havana
This costs 3 resources...I go to the green box in top right corner and click on the minus sign to reduce syndicate resources from 15 to 12
They weren't necessary this time, but I will show you how you can use the pawns to remind you what you did...I normally use white for an ops and black for special activity...the pawns will come in handy as we make more convoluted moves...
Now to my special activity for syndicate...

DR has first non-player pulse...since the event benefits DR...I must play the benefit...
DR gets 5 resources...so I go to the yellow box down at the bottom of the map...and click on the + sign to add 5 to the current 5 resources...for a total of 10 (you'll notice that the yellow cylinder on the number track as advanced to 10 for DR...)

Next...Government controls Santiago de Cuba (3 cubes to two)...so "Govt control marker was placed as I moved the cubes out and then back into the city...I then cleared the movement trails...the module will automatically determine who controls each city or province...
Also, the markers around the board will be updated as changes happen on the Cuba map...

Ok...I will go through this in a little more detail this first time...
1st--8.4.1 (gray halo)--we will just have to do the best we can...because this info is on the job aide cards for non-players.
Before I start the non-player moves/event...I want to show you how the module works...
1st--when the impulse is over(two players have played)...you go to menu at top and select End Faction Play (this deletes pawns and movement trails)
2nd--Select End Card Play (this resets eligibility cylinders for next pulse)
3rd--Draw Card--(moves the upcoming card to Current Event Card and reveal the next upcoming card)
You'll notice that we now have 41+2 cards left to play...see above hidden deck...

Hi Jim...move was fine...regarding the VASSAL module...you don't have to do anything for the most part...when units are placed...the game automatically updates the board...also, if you right click on the population numbers, you will get a large drop down to add stuff...

On my first turn I will OP with a Special Activity. Rally in Sierra Maestra - 4 units (X2 population and X2 bases). 1 resource cost.
Next I will infiltrate in Santiago De Cuba replacing a Police unit with a red block. Gov. loses Control.
I don't know what consequence there is for Gov. losing Control.
