215 4/12/2018 12:14:00 AM Summer 1862 Union Message yeah, I mean, I could've walked back into Nashville, but it wouldn't have mattered much in the long run... I had some pretty low ops hands in there also, so it was very difficult for me to do much of anything.

I'll set us up another one in the next day or two.
214 4/11/2018 11:35:00 PM Summer 1862 Confederate Message Shiloh on turn 2 was staggering thats for sure. And you are right that it would have stopped any serious offence from me for a turn if you had prevented the forming of AoW. But I thought I needed to take a risk on that one as it wasn't carved in stone that you could drop that force below 5. There were quite a few generals on the stack so I'm not sure if I could have attempted retreats too for the whole stack?

As for other things, I was sweating the whole game you would push forward on the western theater. Luckily it seemed I was able to keep you busy around Pennsylvania and such. Putting my capital in Nashville was pretty dumb, should have just put it a way farther. The reason was that I thought I'd build a fort there immediately, but then my 3OP cards were Major campaing and Shiloh.

Anyway, it bugged me for sure that you got so many discarders hoh. And it was fun how few times your defenders just stopped my forces, Pope for example.

Anyway, I'd be happy to play a second round. My last 5 games have been with CSA so if its not a problem, I could try Union for change.
213 4/11/2018 2:43:00 PM Summer 1862 Union Message I think I'm going to go ahead and concede. I have been unable to recover from your early onslaught, and Grant will not be here soon enough, and even if he was, he would lack the numbers.

Well played, I got overly aggressive taking Richmond, but I didn't follow through and try to keep you from getting your army up and running. I think in that case, the best defense for DC would have been a better offense. You did have good fortune getting Major Campaign and Shiloh T2, but you definitely played it very well.

Thanks for the game, I'm up for another if you are.

Played prior to a battle against an army possessing one or more cavalry brigades. The ONLY effects are the Army’s Commanding General’s battle rating (offense or defense) is immediately reduced by 2 and no Cavalry general’s battle ratings may be used in the battle. The effects end at the conclusion of the battle. Cavalry generals are not available for casualty determination. OR: Place one PC marker in any space within four spaces (includes river connections) of a single cavalry brigade. The four space range many not be traced through Northeast Alabama.
