Either player may move up to two infantry SPs from the same space as if they were led by a General. This move is a Corps move and may enter enemy controlled spaces because the SPs are moving as if they are led by a general.

Message from Confederate:
File problem noted. Thanks for fixing. I don't know why I can't stay on track with that. Could it be the beer?

Civil War Logistics by Hess is interesting but not revelatory. As expected, water was cheapest, especially for bulk transport with no immediacy. Favored in West. Rail faster, but subject to sabotage and incompatible gauges. Dominant in trans-Appalachia and East. Sail also cheap, especially coastal and largely without a rebel counterpart. Lastly, 19th C liberal (libertarian) political economy of rebs consitently hobbled their effort (when they even made one) to construct national, military transport networks and policy. Union not so encumbered in straightjackets of the mind.
It all translates kind of oddly to this game. U could move supplies and troops all day, with C struggling. I suppose this is to be reflected in the rail and riverine capacities of both sides. In the end, I think the game reflects these abilities/problems, but not in ways you might expect.
I knew C would take more forethought to cope with its limitations, but it's more difficult than I expected.

------

So I figure if I can move as if led by a general(corps), I can p/u and drop troops along path.

282 7/13/2018 6:51:00 PM Summer 1862 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #104: 1 / Big Bethel
Either player may move up to two infantry SPs from the same space as if they were led by a General. This move is a Corps move and may enter enemy controlled spaces because the SPs are moving as if they are led by a general.

Message from Union:

Leaving 1 SP in Louisville, AoC (n5) to:
1) Bloomington, pick up Butler+2 (AoC n7)
2) Louisville, pick up 1 (AoC n8)

Reaction? If battle, you may resolve. 3 MPs remain. No file yet.
281 7/13/2018 5:17:00 PM Summer 1862 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #102: 3 / First Manassas
Confederate Player may move 2 SPs using Strategic Movement from the same space using rail connections only (5 space maximum) to the same space with a Confederate General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more Union SPs or fort. OR play this card as an automatic 2 space interception. Intervening space must be friendly controlled and free of enemy SPs. The intervening space may be the one just exited by the moving enemy force. No Generals or SPs may be picked up or dropped off during the intercept.
