76 7/20/2018 8:41:00 AM 1757 Late Season Britain Play Strategy card as Operations #10: 1 / Fieldworks
Play before Battle if you have Drilled Troops. If defending, place marker--attacker shifts 1 column left. If attacking, remove defender's marker. (Marker also removed anytime owner chooses or if attackers win.)

Message from Britain:
Use this to activate Bradstreet in Ticonderoga (yes the fort is still under construction). He will take the Light Infantry, the British regular and the two Royal Americans back one space to the fort at Hudson Carry North where he stops for the winter. This leaves Loudoun and Ambercromby with 3 provincials and one reduced provincial at Ticonderoga.
75 7/20/2018 8:38:00 AM 1757 Late Season Britain Message Levis loses at Oneida Carry East with a 2 to 3 result. I will flip the two provincials for my 2 loss factors. French have 3 loss factors which will flip two regulars and either the other regular or the coureur. Levis falls back to the stockade at Oneida Carry West. American/British gain 1 Victory point for the win against French regulars and VPs go from +2 to +1 in the French favor.

Message from Britain:
Johnson successfully intercepts Levis at Oneida Carry East and we have a battle there. You might have a battle card that would affect combat but if you use it and win that will put Levis in the Wilderness to suffer attrition since the stockade will be destroyed. You may play it after seeing this result if that is your desire. I have one but I will not play it for this combat.
1st roll attacking French with 10 factors (3 regulars and one coureur) with +1 for Levis and -1 for stockade for a net of +0.
2nd roll American/British with 9 factors with +1 for Johnson. I calculate that you have a 22.2% chance of defeating Johnson.

Message from Britain:
Use this to activate Bradstreet at Ticonderoga. He will pick up one 4-4 and two 3-4 regulars and the 2-6 ranger and move to Hudson Carry South where he drops all four units off with Webb for winter quarters and then Bradstreet returns alone to Ticonderoga.

63 7/14/2018 8:50:00 PM 1757 Late Season Britain Message The fort at Ticonderoga is replaced with a British fort under construction.
I will change my loss designation somewhat by flipping two royal Americans and only one provincial for my 3 loss factors there.
62 7/14/2018 8:42:00 PM 1757 Late Season Britain Message That was an expensive siege but the British are finally successful and Ticonderoga falls with a 4 to 3 result. The French force of two regulars and one coureur as well as the two leaders, Rigaud and Bougainville, are removed from the game. I suffer 3 step losses which I will use to flip 3 provincials. Victory points move 2 points in the British direction and go to +2 in the French favor (from +4). No leader losses for the British and both French leaders are removed from the game anyway.
