You indeed had rolled a '5' on turn 1 but that didn't count because it was turn 1-2. So this kind of withdrawal can potentially happen one more time in the game. Also, really hate to say it but this withdrawal calls for removing one Arm Bde as well in addition to the 3 Inf/Spt Bdes...

Speaking of withdrawals by the way, did you know that you can use units in the Restriction Box to fulfill the requirements for the withdrawals (7.2)? Also, were you aware that you can pull units out of the Restriction Box early, but with 1 step loss?

At any rate, one thing. Sorry, but shifting up 3 columns put the attack on the 7:1/8:1, not the 5:1/6:1 (shifts are column shifts, not odds shifts). So then the '6' would result in D2r1, not A1D1r1. You'd have to lose the arty and I'll take the hit back off my Arm bn.

I roll up the next overrun myself then, as it's against just 1 unit, which I can readily see.

For 57.19, the first loss has to be on either the 1st Arm Bde or the 11 Ind because they're both '3' attack factor, and then the second loss has to be on one of the other two units in the hex.

(Had been forgetting to mention this rule from the series rules: "8.0b All units in a particular combat must absorb one step loss before any single unit of them absorbs two.")

First is that you may have shortchanged yourself by 1 replacement. When you gave replacements to 4th Bde of 7th Arm Div, it only took 1 replacement to bring it up to full strength (see 4.2 of the Afrika II rules). Unless of course you had given the second replacement to one of the hidden units in that hex. If not though, then you have 1 more replacement coming to you.

Second, you don't have div integrity in the attack you declared from hex 60.16 only. 7th Arm Div has 4 units in the div which should all be on the map, but 60.16 only contains 3 of those units. So you only have 3 shifts there. Shall I continue on with the attack as declared or would you like to adjust anything?

And third, sorry for even breathing the word 'boxes'! Wow...

First the bad news - the new 3-5-6 SA Bde did not come on map but instead into the Restriction Box. Second thing is good news for you though in that you received your one-time Tiger Convoy this turn, which means 3x extra Replacements to spend. Both of these things are on the Order of Arrival table. Next turn for example, all 5 of the other SA units that are on the track for turn 10 also will go to the Restriction Box and not the map, by the way.

I could readily put the SA Bde over into the Restriction Box but you'll really need to decide on those 3 other replacements and their moves of course before we go on to that attack.

- first, I had already taken off your loss in the attack from 52.18 against 51.18, which was an A1D1 result. My guy flipped and your 8-5-8 7/7 Arm Bde flipped. So we can take the extra 'deaths-head' hit marker back off.

- I think you forgot about the A2 result on your guys in 54.18 attacking 53.19. You have a 3-5-7 BR Inf Bde and the 3-3-12 KDF Arm Car unit there each at full strength with 2 steps. Do you want one hit on each?

- And lastly, unfortunately the NZ Bde that got put OOS will have to removed to the deadpile. The very last action to take in the Supply Phase is that each OOS unit loses a step.
