72 9/13/2018 11:23:00 PM Fall 1861 Union Message William,

Two errors with your move.

First, by 6.81, an ungarrisoned for entered by land, not naval movement, is captured (no battle), you can see 6.87 you only have to roll in amphib operation.

Thus, you have no loss (although you didn't take one anyway.

However, the second error is a misreading of 7.52. The lack of cavalry is a -2 from the CG rating, BUT NEVER LESS THAN 0. Thus, McDowell goes to a 0 for his general rating, but that is separate from the fort, so I am a 0 for Generals but a +2 for the fort, thus I scored an 8, so the result is 2* 3, you retreat and the fort remains.

71 9/13/2018 11:11:00 PM Fall 1861 Confederate Message Of course you get a 6, but I still eke out win. Modifies to 7/7, resulting in 2*/2. AoP retreats to? Ft.Manassas destroyed.
