I don't remember specifics, but somewhere there in late'62 I lost control of Mississippi River and couldn't do anything while you stole Arkansas and trapped Jackson. Knew then the game was likely lost.
Will play either side opposite.
Same end game with Rubin, but specifics were differnent. I had him bottled up with West KY buttoned down tight, but he won a ridiculously low odds attack and broke the western line. Then I under resourced Eastern theatre where Grant plowed through. Had to abandon Richmond simply not to lose the army as well. Result predictable.

You did good also at preventing me from an early overrun of the West. However, problems really started when not only did you get an Army trapped, but an army with your best leader.

Need to really watch choosing the option to go first or to use an event card. Many of my best turns were where I moved last (although not always your choice when I had the discard card).

481 12/22/2018 8:55:00 PM Summer 1864 Union Message Good move, my next move was going to be to put Richmond OOS. Much harder to do with RR Logisitics rules, but I would have gotten 4 spaces with Burnside so drop an SP in Burkittville and march to Weldon.

Since Richmond won't fall easily, I will go ahead and end the game. You will make it to turn 12 by 1 point but lose that in reinforcements.
